GENERAL NOTES:
1.The cost of block work shall include supply, testing, placing of approved
blocks, workmanship, mortar, scaffolds, filling mastic for expansion joints
and all other required materials, equipment and tools to complete the work
according to specifications and directions of the Architect or Engineer. The prices
should also include B200 protection concrete round sleeves and pipes of
electrical,sanitary and mechanical pipes and ducts where required.

GENERAL NOTES:
1.The cost of plastering shall include supply of all materials, mixing,
scaffolds, curing, galvanised angles (for exposed edges), galvanised mesh
(between block walls and concrete), cleaning the site, required equipment
and workmanship to complete the work according to specifications and
directions of the Architect.
2. Plastering should be done with cement mortar ratio of 1:3, 1:4, 1:6 etc. as per the
requirements of the work. It should be in straight line, leveled, plumbed and the joint
must be in right angle.

8.01 DOORS
GENERAL NOTES:
The following items shall be completed according to drawings, specifications and
Architect's instructions.
(a) Door frames shall fit into walls and sizes of door openings, after
considering the thickness of plastering and frames.
(b) The shown dimensions on details are the architectural dimensions of
door leaves without the frames.
(c) All hardware for doors shall be Union type or equivalent approved type.
(d) Doors should be fitted with handles (colour & types as directed and
approved by the Architect)
(e)Steel frames should be filled with fine aggregate mortar concrete, for
fixation.
(f) For aluminum works, contractor shall submit shop drawings for the
Architect's approval before supplying & installation.

GENERAL NOTES:
All works must be according to drawings, specification and Architect's
instructions. Rates shall include:
(a) Submitting samples for approval of material, accessories, color and fixation
method.
(b) All metal works include the fixation for frames and leaves and all required
accessories according to the Architect's instructions.

DIV-09 FINISHES
GENERAL NOTES:
All works must be according to drawings, specification and Architect's instructions.
Rates shall include :
(a) Prices of Tiles & Marble works shall include supply of all materials, testing,
mortar, 5cm sand under tiles or marble or back the tiles or marble (wall), skirting,
workmanship,opening areas and all materials & tools and anywhere else, needed,
all according to drawings, specifications, conditions and directed instructions by the
Architect or his representative
(b) Cleaning, mechanical polishing and pointing using grout.
(c) Plastic angle beads for ceramic wall tiles and Aluminum angle for ceramic of
walls at the corners.
(d) Local marble must be Grade (A) free cracks and clay flaws.
(e) Only SASO approved Type of good quality imported porcelain and glazed
ceramic tiles (floor & walls) shall be used
(f) Only Grade A for local marble shall be used, free from cracks, holes and pits,
homogeneous in the approval color
