First we should know What actually is Search Engine Marketing? It’s a simple
form of internet marketing that involves the promotion of websites by
increasing their visibility in search engine results pages.
Now the question arises why there is a need of such kind of marketing? Can I
ask you something? When is the last time you browsed through to the fifth
page in a Google Search? Now my point would be much more clear. It provides
pliability to advertisers. They can easily see both immediate and protracted
results, analyze that data for better intuitions, and, convert visitors into
customers. It seems that for advertisers it’s a real heaven on earth.
Now is it that simple? What about its efficiency? It’s consider to be one of the
most prolific marketing strategies because you only have to pay when visitors
click on yours add. It’s not only involves the placement of targeted
advertisements in a user’s search engine results, but also hits meticulously to
the right population based on their interest, location and demographic criteria.

last quarter. In short Google is making $121million per day from ads. If
someone has that kind of a crock of gold then, it completely sums up the
equation of SEM working. This is only one side of the image.
