Online Shopping

Over the years, online shopping has become an important part of our life. Online
shopping facilities have increased in paralel with technological developments.
Correspondingly, Online shopping sector grows every day. Today we use traditional shopping
less often. Especially young generations prefer online shopping more than old people.
Although we prefer online shopping by its advantages, we face some disadvantages too as
using it.

To start with, online shopping is a very comfortable way of shopping. People don’t
have to go anywhere and walk around to find what they want to buy. People can see various
products while they are sitting and drinking their coffe at home. The second advantage is
better prices. Online shopping websites offer discounts often especially on special days.
Everyone who follow discounts can buy very cheap products. What is more, people are able
to compare prices between different websites and prices between different time ranges, which
helps them to decide easily and economically. In addition they can find many products with
the help of filters without wasting time.

On the other hand, online shopping has some disadvantages. For instance, people can’t
try on the products or touch them. Especially buying clothes requires trying. When people
can’t touch products they can’t evaluate their quality, which increases the possibility of
returning them. So some products are more convenient to buy them from online shopping
websites. The second disadvantage is delays in delivery. Some products come to costumer
from a different country so away so people have to wait for a long time to receive them. For
instance, some online shopping websites sell products from China and they deliver product by
shipping, that makes the proccess longer. Thirdly, when you don’t like a product and want to
return it, you have to complete a boring and tiring process which effaces all comfort of online
shopping.

As a conclusion, we pass traditional shopping ways on to online shopping day by day

and we face some advantages and disadvantages of it. In my opinion, its advantages are more
than its disadvantages therefore online shopping sector grows rapidly. If we use online
shopping consciously, we can avoid its disadvantages.
