 LESSON PLAN IN KINDERGARTEN
(MATHEMATICS)

I. Objectives:
1. Identify more than, less than and equal symbols.
2. Compare two sets of objects to decide which is more > ,less < or if they are
equal =.
3. Shows cooperation in class discussion and in group activity.
II. Subject Matter:
More than > , Less than < , and equal =.
References: KTG- QUARTER 4 , WEEK 32, DAY 4
Materials: video clips , real objects, pictures, manila papers, pens, others.

III. Procedure:
a. Preparation:
Drills/ Routines in the classroom

Songs on numbers using (videoclip)

ASK; Basi sa atong nakita mga bata, importante ba nga kita makakat-on sa numero? Nganu man?

b. Presentation:

Introduce the different symbols <, >, =. Showing them the costumize symbols with name. let
them familiarize it and also let them read their names.
(giving them examples for each symbols)
Based on the given examples the teacher asked:
Unsay kalahian sa matag grupo? Ang unang pundok para sa more than >, less than < ug equal =?
The Teacher discuss it to the class.

To let them understand more the lesson ,the teacher presented a game called
“ POINT, COUNT and DECIDE.

ASK: pila kabuok manga? Pila ka mga dahon? Unsa ang symbol nga atong ibutang sa unang set?
( let someone answer)
After which, another game is presented called
“RAISE and CHECK.
Give each child set of symbols more ., less, and equal =. Let them raise the correct symbol to be used
based on the different sets of objects shown.

c. Practice;
GROUP ACTIVITY
1- Write the correct symbol for each set of
objects.
2- Draw the lacking objects on column B to
complete the set of objects on column A.
3- Encircle the correct symbol to be used.

MINUTES

The meeting comes to order at exactly 10:00 in the morning.

The adviser presided the meeting. The adviser talked about the lacking
requirements of the other children most especially the birthcertificates.

Monitorial work was discussed and it was agreed that those parents
who cannot do the cleaning will have to bring floorwax, powder soap and other
needed in the classroom.

The last agenda was about the election of classroom officers.

MINUTES

It was started with a prayer. At 11: 00 in the morning the meeting comes to
order. The president presided the meeting.
The first agenda was about the viewing and signing of the card.
Another agenda was about the incoming King and Queen. There should have a
representative per section. Therefore, they agreed to contribute any amount as
help to the contestant. The deadline will be February 28.2020. the money will be
collected by the HR Treasurer.

There were no questions raised so the meeting adjourned at 12:00 noon.
