1.0. COURSE PURPOSE

This unit covers a systems approach to software project management.

2.0. LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of this course, the learners should be able to:

i. Discuss the concepts of project management in ICT


ii. Identify the key elements of project management
iii. Develop a project plan of the activities related to software project management
iv. Explain the role of project management in successful implementation of IT projects
v. Employ standards, tools and techniques in IT projects.
