Pre-conference Workshop: Awaken your inner healer: How to bio-hack your


mind for joy and success - 14 May 2020 (6 CPD)
Dr. Lorne Brown is the Clinical Director of Acubalance Wellness Centre (Vancouver BC
Canada), and the Founder of Healthy Seminars and the chair of the Integrative Fertility
Symposium.

On Thursday 14 May 2020, the pre-conference workshop will be hosted by Lorne who will cover self-care and
practice management but with a quantum physics twist, learn how to prevent and treat practitioner burnout
and how to build a successful practice with integrity. 

The workshop will be both lecture and experiential. Expect some transformational experiences if you come
with the attitude of willing, ready and able.

Post-conference Workshop: Maternity Acupuncture: Promoting the potential


and problem solving within clinical practice - 18 May 2020 (6 CPD)
Dr. Debra Betts graduated from the London College of Acupuncture in 1989 and
completed her PhD on the use of acupuncture in threatened miscarriage in 2014. With a
practice focusing on women’s health she commenced an acupuncture course for midwives
in 1997.

The post-conference workshop on Monday 18 May 2020 hosted by Debra is designed to identify key areas of
practice for maternity acupuncture promotion and provide a supportive environment for practitioners to
troubleshoot challenging aspects of practice.

Debra will share her expertise on key issues relating to the clinical practice of treating women in pregnancy and
the postpartum.
