Solutions for common TV problems

"I am not hearing Audio during your News Broadcasts or I am


hearing another language or descriptive Audio on your
channel"
This occurs when your TV's audio preference is set to the Secondary or SAP channel.
This appears differently depending on the TV you own.

On your remote, find the menu button and locate the Audio tab or Options.
Make sure your preferred audio setting is set to Primary or English in order to restore your preferred Audio.

If you're watching on a streaming device, make sure your preferred audio setting is also selected.

"I am not seeing your channel at all, I use an Antenna only."

Various reasons can cause interruptions in viewing.

The easiest way to restore all available channels is to do a channel scan.

This option is available on all Smart TVs and Digital Converter Boxes.

Step One: To open your TV's menu, find and press the Menu Button. ----->

Step Two: locate the "Channel" or "Broadcasting" tab in the menu system

Step Three: Select the option you see that says something similar to AIR, not cable, and
run the channel scan. This may take several minutes.

After a scan has run check to see if you have all the channels you are looking for.
If not continue on below.

"Rescanning didn't help, I still don't have the channels."

If rescanning your TV or Converter Box has not helped in restoring your channels, here are
some things to try next.

• Check to make sure the connection on the back of the tv is secured.

• If your antenna has a long cable, verify the entire length has not been damaged.

• Low signal strength is usually the reason for missing channels. To improve signal
strength you have a couple options

○ Get a new antenna, the flat antennas are best for indoor areas.
○ Move your current antenna to different areas around the room.
○ Install an antenna in the attic to achieve better signal.
○ Install a Roof antenna, this is the best option.
 Rescan after trying any of these options.

"I am not seeing your channel at all, I have Cable or Satellite TV."

If you do not receive our signal Over-The-Air with an Antenna but through another provider,
