Describe the planned activities that have taken place. List activities, number of e
vent/s and location/s. *
The goals have been used throughout the 16 game seasons for Under 11s, Under 13s, Under
17s, and senior women’s and men’s teams. Additionally the equipment was used to host the
first round of the 2019 Victorian Lacrosse finals.

Project budget increased as costs for nets and goals was more than expected. The lacrosse
club covered the increased costs.

Describe 3 key outcomes of the project that made a difference in the community.

1. Altona Lacrosse club successfully hosted the largest final round of 2019 and highlighted
the facilities available in Hobsons Bay.
2. Safety of players was improved as newer goals have improved safety features from the
older style goals.
3. Goals were easier to bring in and out and speed up getting the fields ready. This
increased involvement as it was easier to find volunteers.

The project was pretty straight forward and a reminder of the valuable support provided to
our club through the grant process.
