Why do you think your intended community needs to be impacted in that way? (D1, D2)

FEEDBACK/REFLECTION

Self-Reflection

Explain what you think the actual impact was of your final performance. (D3)

I think I gave them hope, and happier feelings, as well as giving the importance of life and telling that
there always is someone who will support you. I think the actual impact was very close to the impact that
we have intended.

How successful was your final performance, musically speaking only? (D3)

It was a really impressive performance for me as well as to the audiences, since the song was giving a
great impact to the audiences.

One of the audiences said the song was cohesive and was performed like a group. He said the song
would have been better with bass, but it is still good. The point that he believed that needed to be
improved the most was the singer. He liked the sound, but some of the sounds were inaudible. He
suggested vocalizing a bit.

How successful was your final performance in terms of inspiring your intended community? (D2,
D3)

It was such a nice piece of work. The music has conveyed the meaning that we intened, as we were
intending to give them a strength to step on even though there will be hard times. If I were to give myself
a score, I would give 8 out of 10 in the part of inspiring the community.

Peer Feedback

How successful did you feel the other group’s performance was, musically speaking only? (D3)

It was really great. I liked the way Ben played piano. He was changing the keys for the mood of the song,
as well as the tone of the singer. I really liked Ben’s ability to do that. Also, the voice of Poom was
awesome, as well as his bass. It would have been better if he was singing in a clearer way. Some of the
lyrics were inaudible. I believe that is a technical problem. Lastly, Doris’ voice was so clear that it went
through everyone. Like, It was too good that I can’t really explain. Overall, it was a really nice
performance and I would love to see them doing it again.

How successful did you feel the other group’s performance was in terms of inspiring their
intended community? (D3)

I am certain that it would have inspired their intended community really well. The mixing of the song was
composed in an incredible way. The song was really good to listen to and I was able to feel the meaning
of the song even though I was not having a hard time or something.

Prior-Learning

Explain what prior learning you used throughout this project and how it helped you. (D1)

Basic learning about piano and learning how to use both hands has helped me pretty much. Also, for
writing the note, the previous summative helped me so much. I would have not thought of recomposing
the music if there was no prior learning about Noteflight. Also, Faded and Counting stars have already
bonded us into the team previously, so it was not that hard playing the song in a group.

Musical Development

Describe what musical skills or techniques you improved throughout the process and how you
improved them. (B1)

I had not been practising piano for a long time, also I wasn’t good at using both hands at the same time.
However, by thisi, now I can successfully use both hands at the same time. Also, I have learned how to
press a key with a higher key of it at the same time. Also, I wasn’t really good at improvising the song by
myself, but by seeing Ryuji doing it, I was inspired a lot and now I am able to do it.
