A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF
ACCREDITATION OF C A M A R I N C O M M U N I T Y R E S O U R C E A N D
D E V E L O P M E N T , I N C . ( C . C . R . D . I . ) , A S A P EO P L E ’ S O R G A N I Z A T I O N
( P O ) , SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAWS, RULES AND REGULATIONS,
EFFECTIVE UNTIL JUNE 30, 2022

WHEREAS, under Section 108 of Republic Act 7160 or the Local Government
Code of 1991, the local sanggunian concerned shall accredit non-
governmental oraganizations subject to such criteria as may be
provided by law;
WHEREAS, ARTICLE 62, Rule XIII of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of
the Local Government Code of 1991 (Republic Act 7160) - Role of
People's Organizations, Nongovernmental Organizations and the
Private Sector. — LGUs shall promote the establishment and
operation of people's organizations, NGOs, and the private sector, to
make them active partners in the pursuit of local autonomy. For this
purpose, people's organizations, NGOs, and the private sector shall
be directly involved in the following plans, programs, projects, or
activities of LGUs;

(a) Local special bodies;
WHEREAS, Camarin Community Resource and Development, Inc.,.a non-stock,
non-profit organization with office address at San Vicente Ferrer Road,
Bgy. 178, Camarin Area D, Caloocan City has been granted Certificate
of Incorporation by the Securities and Exchange Commission on
November 9, 1989 and with Certificate of Registration No. 170502 ;
WHEREAS, Camarin Community Resource and Development, Inc..., was issued
Certificate of Incorporation by the Housing and Land Use Regulatory
Board (HLURB) on April 4, 2017 pursuant to Republic Act No. 9904,
“AN ACT PROVIDING FOR A MAGNA CARTA FOR HOMEOWNERS AND
HOMEOWNERS’ ASSOCIATIONS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES” in
relation to Section 24 - Procedure for SEC or HIGC Registered
Homeowners Associations, paragraphs (a) and (b) of its
Implementing Rules and Regulations;
WHEREAS, Camarin Community Resource and Development, Inc, was organized
with the purpose of developing the community economically,
educationally and socially; sports, health and political aspect of the
people; help maintain the peace and order in the area, as a way of
 supplementing the efforts of the government, the barangay in
particular, to make the community a worthy place to live in;
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of Camarin Community Resource and
Development, Inc,., approved and adopted a Board Resolution signifying
their intention for renewal of Accreditation for Civil Society Organization
with the Sanggunian Panlungsod;
WHEREAS, Camarin Community Resource and Development, Inc., in an original
sworn statement, stated that its organization will remain
independent and non-partisan, and that it will retain its autonomy
while pursuing the advancement of its interest through its
membership;
WHEREAS, Camarin Community Resource and Development, Inc ., has shown its
reliability as evidenced by its preparation of annual accomplishments
report and conduct of annual meeting;
WHEREAS, Camarin Community Resource and Development, Inc ., complied
with the provisions of the Local Government Code and its
Implementing Rules and Regulations, in relation with DILG
Memorandum Circular No. 2019 – 72 dated May 22, 2019;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the
Sangguniang Panlungsod of Caloocan City, in session duly
assembled, to approve the application for renewal of accreditation
as a People’s Organization (PO) of Camarin Community Resource
and Development, Inc.;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished the Office of
the City Mayor Hon. Oscar G. Malapitan, Camarin Community
Resource and Development, Inc., and all offices, departments and
agencies concerned for their information, guidance and reference.
