Filter kit for the M600
The M600 comes with a new filter with better sealing on the top.

Note: This filter combination can be used in all M2 models such as S200/ S300/ S300i.
To do this there is a need to remove the springs in the bottom of the robot. See please attached pictures

The cartridge can be upgraded to a thicker one, which allows a higher filtration surface. If thicker
cartridges are used, the rough filter must also be changed. The kit includes the following parts:

Supper-Ultra-Fine Filter Basket Thick Kit for 2015-line Mass and basic models

The kit includes the front and rear thick filter.

The basket itself has been modified to allow the upgrade for thicker filters.
All robots manufactured after July 2018 are delivered with the new basket.

The new basket is engraved with the word SUF for easy recognition and to differentiate from the older
basket.

• S1: S100 Izzy Climb, Z fun, E10, E20

The physical change:

1. SUF is engraved on the basket on 3 locations.

2. All four rounded spring bases shortened for better vacuum.
3. Both filter panel holders shortened.
4. Both filter panel leaders have a longer phase, to prevent hand injury from sharp edges
(previously the edges were cut manually).

Caddy aluminum profile
We changed the profile insert to yellow and improved the fit of the profile to ensure the part stays in
place.
The changes solve two issues:
• Missing insert in the profile – yellow color is easy to spot.
• Insert moves from its place.

Family 8 improvement
Handle
Improved handle:
1. New material with high UV resistance.
2. Added material and reinforcement ribs.
3. The reinforcement ribs provide enhanced grip.
See improvement highlighted in red below:

This improvement will prevent breakage at the grip handle.

Rail handle
Following complaints that the handle ring slips on the side, releasing the handle from the rail (see
below), we decided to add material to the rail cogs for better resistance against the handle ring. See the
change in the following images highlighted in red:

Motor unit 2010/2015 main connector improvement

Due to the main connector disconnecting from the terminal plug, causing the motor unit to fail, we
added a connector locker + 50x12 screw to ensure connection.

We changed the cables to comply with new regulations.
The new cable has an O ring and will fit all power supply units except for the Wave 150/200/300 power supply.

Following several incidents of out-of-box damage due to aggressive shipment (see photo of damage
below), we decided to add the following improvements to the bottom lid:

Cable changes
We changed all the cable spare parts to DIY; this means the cable has a molded connector on the side of
the motor unit along with all fittings (nut/screw for motor unit, grommet, sealing rubber, springs) per
model.
All cable parts with ASSY ending will no longer be available.

Maytronics Dolphin Wave 300XL quality improvements

Driving system improvement

The main quality issues of the drive system were caused by high belt tension, which increases wear and
load.

We changed the belt to a T10 belt (the same belt as the Wave 200XL), to reduce the loads from the
driving system.

The belt is constructed with teeth, so the momentum force is distributed over the teeth integral area.
This reduces the tension on the shafts to a minimum so that the motor unit has less radial force on its
bearing.

In addition, we expanded the shaft diameter from 10mm to 12mm (in both shafts) to prevent breakage,
and adjusted all other parts to fit the new shaft.
From the performance perspective, the above changes also improve robot functionality in pools with
slopes, high main drains or high-water inlets.

New power supply PCB card improvement wave 300

Following failures in the power supply PCB card due to shorts in the electric system, we changed the PCB
hardware and software. The advantages of the new PCB card are:
1. Shorts in the electric system will not damage the power supply PCB.
2. New power supply fuse.
3. Power supply fans operate only when the cleaner is working, when the voltage consumption is
high (fewer working hours for the fans).

Maytronics Dolphin Wave 300/200 MMI cable improvement
1. We changed the MMI cable coating material and color. The cable is now stronger with higher UV
resistance to prevent tears, sun damage, and fading.
2. We changed the MMI cable connector to a screw type. The new connector can be
opened/closed with a 13mm spanner, with no need for a special tool (Lumberg key) or pliers.

Following complaints that the track bends and slips aside, we added two slides to prevent the track from
slipping (no friction).

The change will be implemented only for the problematic side panel (not for both).

Package Improvements

Due to some complaints we received, with respect to scratches and damage to the robot during
transportation, we have improved the package to be more durable and resistance for the hash
transportation. This improvement complies with the Norm ISTA 3A.

The improvement implemented the following aspects:

• Separating the robot from the rest of the package with a special plastic bag against scratches
• Fixing the robot inside the package in a way that it prevents the movement and to reduce
vibrations.
• Protection against Break-up of the robot by focusing on strengthening the bottom part of the
package.
