Rapat Kerja Nasional 2016 by AMSA Universitas Sriwijaya NATIONAL EVENT

Day 1
In our first day, after we arrived in Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II International Airport, we headed to
Wisma Atlet Jakabaring to check in. since we still have several hours until the first event that day which
is welcoming party at 18.30, we decided to have some pempek, signature dish from Palembang, in
pempek restaurant there. After that, we went to Tiko Market to buy some souvenirs like Songket,
traditional cloth from Palembang. We headed back to WismaAtlet after that to get prepared for the
welcoming party that took place in the WismaAtlet Hall. In the welcoming party we saw traditional
dance performance and also band performance from Sriwijaya University while having dinner. We took
photos, making new friends there and had a good time together. And last, we had presidium election for
the tomorrow National Meeting to end the welcoming party.

Day 2
In the second day, we were moving to Kantor DPRD Palembang at 07.00 to have the National Meeting
there. But before that, we had lectures about Diabetes and Dietary Management in Diabetic Patient
until 09.00. The event continued with the National Meeting where Ananta Siddhi, the elected Regional
Chairperson this year, explained about the one year ahead program from each executive broad
followed by a very tense discussion by the meeting participants. The following agenda was National
Event Bidding. AMSA Unpad bid for IMSTC also did AMSA UPH. We lost the bidding but we had a
valuable experience by decided to bid for the national event eventhough we didn’t win. The bidding
ended at 17.30 where we immediately heading back to WismaAtlet to get prepared for the Farewell
Party which themed Tropical. The farewell party took place in River Side Restaurant where you can
directly see the beauty of Ampera Bridge with all the lights in the night. What a beautiful scenery. There
were also dance and band performance from Sriwijaya University while we had our dinner. After taking
some photos together, the party continued with “Meet the Expert” session. The expert was Ahmad Aulia
Rizaly (Auk) which was the earlier General Secretary of AMSA International. After the Farewell Party
ends, there was still RTM (Rapat Tatap Muka) that was attended by the representatives of each
university and also several general delegates to continue discussing several things which were not yet
unanimous.

Day 3
In day 3, we were supposed to do social activity in the morning actually, but since it was raining that
morning we didn’t do the social act. We used the extra time to talk and take some photos with our new
friends from various universities all around Indonesia. Then we took photo by creating a giant AMSA
word using drone, it was fun. After that, we were having a city tour to PulauKemaro and took some
photos in front of the Klenteng and Pagoda there. The place was so beautiful and authentic. After the
city tour we had goodbye with our friends there and headed back to Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II
International Airport to go back home. We had so much fun by participating this event, we met many
new friends and had a wonderful experience together.

NOSTALGIA EVENT

Day 1, November 6th 2016: we focused on the elderly

Finally the day has come!

Society Welfare AMSA-Unpad presents Nostalgia at Desa Cilélés

Throughout the day we've had our:

- Morning exercise

With our energetic instructors, geriatrics of Desa Cilélés started with an exercise to stretchen out their
joints

- Education about osteoarthritis

From dr. Realita Malik, we learnt about the details of osteoarthritis and had a brief question & answer
session

- Cooking competition

Between 10 'RW's from Desa Cilélés, cooking their special dishes

- Medical check for blood pressure and bone density

So that they know their current medical condition

- 'Cucu Fasil' time

We had a sharing session in small discussion groups to talk about the material explained before

- Closing
While reading an emotional poem written by one of our committee about 'Grandparents', we handed
out individual roses to them, many of whom were touched and had tears in their eyes.

To see the smiles and laughter of the elderly made this whole event worthwhile. Overall our participants
of elderly people had lots of fun, increased their knowledge on our theme of Hypertension &
Osteoarthritis, and fully had an enjoyable time.

Day 2, November 8th 2016 : we focused on training their ibu Kader so they can further understand how
to handle geriatrics and related issues

We started the day with a lecture from Lazuardhi,dr.Sp.PD.K.Ger.M.Kes. who specializes in 'Geriatrics
Councelling'.

Later we divided into small groups for 'Blood Pressure Measurement Training', where each Kader had
the opportunity to practice measuring blood pressure so that it can be exercised back in Desa Cileles.

Lastly, Society Welfare AMSA-Unpad contributes by donating a number of digital blood pressure devices
for each RW at Desa Cileles, and ended the day with a group photo.

This day marked the end of our Nostalgia. To the geriatrics and Kader of Desa Cileles, we hope that they
can benefit from our events, we wish the very best for their health, and appreciate their full
participation for these two days.

 ALLEGRA 2016 EVENT

AMSA-Unpad was having two day of ALLEGRA (AMSA-Unpad Leadership and Loyalty Upgrading 2016)
DAY 1 : November 1st 2016

There were lecture session about "Problem Solving" by Argya Nareswara (AMSA-Unpad Representative
2013/2014), and "Leadership" by Fakhri Guniar (Ketua Himpunan Teknik Industri ITB)

Next, the member was devided into 10 groups and they had focus group discussion about AMSA-Unpad.
Each group were presenting the result of their discussion to all audience

DAY 2 : November 2nd 2016

On the second day of ALLEGRA, we had lecture about "Team Work Team Building" by Rio Pramudita
(Ketua Himpunan Teknik Mesin ITB), and about "Communication" by Muhammad Nabil (Presiden BEM
Kema FK Unpad).
Then, continued with games as implementation of the themes

After that, there was an information about AMSEP. And last, we closed our event by taking photos
together
