E-ENVIRONMENT GAS AGENCY

ABSTRACT

The project entitled as “E-ENVIRONMENT GAS AGENCY ” is to design and develop

the application package for well secured dynamic application. This package is originated using
front end as ASP.NET, coding C# with SQL Server is back end. This package requires Visual
Studio IDE in the server for processing the WebPages and client systems requires windows
operating system and one web browser like internet explorer.

Now a day's every man need a gas connection. This is an online gas booking framework
for clients that permits them to request gas cylinders at whatever point required. Clients can now
specifically arrange gas chamber and can likewise make installment as opposed to utilizing
ordinary approach of requesting through telephone.

The ordinary framework sets aside long time for handling solicitation and clients have no
other alternative however to hold up. This venture dispenses with every one of these downsides.
There will be client login and administrator login. Online Gas Agency Management System is a
web base application for gas booking they have to make a call to distributor and book the gas.
Main aim of Gas Agency Management System project is to create a computerized system for
billing and maintaining. It  is to manage the HP, Indian, Indane, Bharath gas agency companies.
They provide LPG Cylinders in four sizes 33kgs, 17kgs, 12kgs and 5.5kgs for Industrial usage,
Commercial usage and Domestic usages correspondingly.

Administrator has the control of the considerable number of clients record and their
points of interest. And also available gas connection to transfer from one to another location
Administrator has the control of either favoring or disliking these demand as indicated by the
guidelines and directions. There is likewise a component of setting up warnings by the
administrator which will be noticeable to every one of the clients.

MODULES DESCRIPTION

ADMIN:

In this module admin can add distributor. and admin can manage like customer, booking,
feedback and reports.

DISTRIBUTOR:

In this module save Distributer details in a database like name, connection type, email... etc..

CUSTOMER:

Customers can register with our self. This module sane Customer details into a database like
name, DOB, address, state, district, Aadharcardno... etc.. They can get new connection through online.

BOOKING:

After customer register they can book the gas via online. And they can change one distributor to
another. Using the payment and delivery option we can get Gas Cylinders when we want.

FEEDBACK:

customer can give feedback about our services.

REPORTS:

It give report about no of customer, no of booking and feedback.

EXISTING SYSTEM:

In the existing system, the billing process, receiving order from customers and stock details are
done through computerized records. Whenever a customer makes a demand for gas it is recorded
in a separate notebook and the previous delivery made to the customer is searched and the
number of days from that date till now is calculated. If the number of days is expired only then
the order is accepted, if not the order placed will be rejected. Then the valid order request is
taken in and a billing is done by windows based application. The order is for two purposes as
domestic and commercial. The billing is done based on the above two categories and the rate is
charged. Then the stock of cylinders is also maintained in system records. So while billing this
also has to be taken into account and billed. So this involves a great process and the time is also
wasted.

Drawbacks of Existing System

 The user cannot book more than specified cylinders. They has to request for an extra one by
filling up a form that can only be granted with admin approval.
 There can be fraud and security problems.
 It's not an user-friendly
 Time delay delivery
 More than spaces available in data storage.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:

In the proposed system, the process of billing and maintaining the stock, database of customers
are all made web based records. Since whenever a customer's makes a demand or places an order
through online or by personal, it is received and immediately checked by billing. The customer’s
name, address, last date of delivery are all maintained in the database. So when the customer
order is received and billed, the system automatically calculates the number of days from the
previous delivery, if valid the billing can be done, if not the billing cannot be done and the
customer can be informed about it. So the computerized process of recording and billing is done
easily. The stock of gas that is recorded and maintained is made through website. So while
billing, based on the stock the billing charge and capacity is made. When the stock goes below
the limit, it can be easily identified. So by this project the process of ordering, billing and stock
maintenance for a gas agency can be processed easily.
Advantages of Proposed System

We can solve existing problem by using the website application. Our proposed system is web
based which can be very effective. Many advantages are there in this type of system.
