1. Introduction
The Medical Council of India (MCI) issues eligibility Certificate to the aspiring students who seeks
admission in any medical collage outside India. The certificate have details of the student as well as
his academics. MCI verifies the documents submitted by the applicant and issues the Eligibility
Certificate if everything is ok. Else, the application is rejected. Every year thousands of student
across India approach MCI either personally or through their representative to apply for Eligibility
certificate. The manual process requires the applicant to come personally and apply for the
certificate.
The Eligibility module of DMMP allows the applicant to submit their application for Eligibility
certificate online, pay fees Online, upload the scan copies of all required documents and submit the
application. The Applicant then should send the original documents to MCI in Person, or by either
Post or via an authorised representative within 30 days of submitting the application. Each
application will be get an auto generated unique application number so that the applicant can track
their application online by logging into their User id and password. Once the application is processed
at MCI the Applicant will receive, the digitally signed eligibility Certificate via automated email to
his/her registered email ID.

2. Overview
This manual is created to help all the Stakeholders/Users to use this module. Step by step
instructions supported by actual screen shots are detailed in the manual so that no issues are faced
while using this module online.
2.1 Login
For applying for Eligibility certificate, the Applicant needs to first register on MCI website
www.mciindia.org. The following steps should be followed:

3. Click on the text “Registration for User id and Password” The following screen will appear
4. Click on “Register Now”, the following screen will appear. Enter the required details for
registration and press submit button. The auto generated User id and password will be send
to the email id mentioned in the screen below
NOTE- When the applicant login for the first time system will ask to change the password. Change
your password by entering a new password of your choice. Always use the same password whenever
you are login next time.

NOTE- Once you click on Reset Password button. It’s generate an auto email with your new
password, which is sent to your registered Email Id. Use that password to change your password.

Application Form appears. The Applicant has to fill all the required details. The compulsory Columns
are mentioned with “*”. As the Application form is big it is advisable to keep saving the data
entered to avoid it to enter again and again if something goes wrong. Complete all the details and

NOTE- ONCE THE APPLICATION IS SUBMITTED THE APPLICANT NEED TO SEND THE ORGINAL
DOCUMENTS EITHER IN PERSON OR BY POST OR BY AUTHORISED REPRESENTATIVE WITHIN 30
DAYS OF THE APPLICATION SUBMISSION DATE.
After the fees is paid and application is submitted the applicant will receive automatic email alert
and flow will show the application pending at MCI LDC. It will also show whether is application is
pending with LDC1 or LDC2 or LDC3 or LDC4 of the Eligibility Section of MCI.
