e. Issue: Territory conflict in Mainland Southeast Asia
B. Performance Standards The learner evaluates the Eightfold Path in terms of how it achieves the Middle Way.
C. Learning Competency/Objectives 1. State the Four Noble Truths and the Eight-fold path(HUMSS_WRB12II/IVb-9.1)

A. REVIEW ACTIVITY: Let the students share some of the thing they learned from the previous lesson. Ask the students the following questions, and let them share their answer orally.

B. SPRINGBOARD/MOTIVATION: Play a video about a prince who wandered in the forest and attained enlightenment. Let the students share to the class what they found out about Mahayana Buddhism.
