:::STARBLUE VALLEY - A MAP RECOLOR: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO (PINK EDITION):::

AUTHOR: Lita/strangelyliteral
NEXUS: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/users/51485186
TUMBLR: https://strangelyliteral.tumblr.com/ (for mod announcements, WIPs/sneak
peeks, and general information)
DESCRIPTION: Everything's approximately 17% less saturated and more blue. Except
fall, fall is gold now. Now with desert and beach maps!
VERSION: 1.1

::REQUIREMENTS::
Stardew Valley v1.2, SMAPI v2.5.2 (https://github.com/Pathoschild/SMAPI/releases)
or later, Content Patcher v1.1 (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1915).

::INSTALLATION::
Install SMAPI and Content Patcher first (see their respective sites for
installation instructions). Then download the version of the maps you want and
unzip them into your Stardew Valley > Mods folder (This will vary depending on your
OS, whether you downloaded your game from GOG or Steam, and whether you installed
to the default location. For example, I have the Steam version on a Windows 10 64
bit install in its default location, so my path is C:\Program Files
(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods).

For uninstallation, simply delete the folder. For partial uninstallation, remove
the code entries for the files you don't want to use (or set them to "Enabled":
false). Note that if you delete the PNG associated with an object but not the
corresponding entry in the content.json file, the maps may not load properly.

::COMPATIBILITY::
Since Starblue Valley is now a Content Patch Pack, it no longer overwrites game
files. It will, however, override the assets for all or part of the following
files:

 Content: desertTiles.xnb, Festivals.xnb, spring_outdoorsTileSheet.xnb,

spring_beach.xnb, spring_town.xnb, summer_beach.xnb, summer_outdoorsTileSheet.xnb,
summer_town.xnb, fall_beach.xnb, fall_outdoorTileSheets.xnb, fall_town.xnb,
winter_beach.xnb, winter_outdoorsTileSheet.xnb, winter_town.xnb
 LooseSprites: Cursors.xnb, map.xnb
 Maps: desertTiles.xnb, Festivals.xnb, spring_outdoorsTileSheet.xnb,
spring_beach.xnb, spring_town.xnb, summer_beach.xnb, summer_outdoorsTileSheet.xnb,
summer_town.xnb, fall_beach.xnb, fall_outdoorTileSheets.xnb, fall_town.xnb,
winter_beach.xnb, winter_outdoorsTileSheet.xnb, winter_town.xnb (so same as the
Content folder)
 TerrainFeatures: grass.xnb, hoeDirt.xnb, hoeDirtDark.xnb, hoeDirtSnow.xnb,
tree_palm.xnb, tree1_spring.xnb, tree1_summer.xnb, tree1_fall.xnb,
tree1_winter.xnb, tree2_spring.xnb, tree2_summer.xnb, tree2_fall.xnb,
tree2_winter.xnb, tree3_spring.xnb (uses same file for spring and summer),
tree3_fall.xnb, tree3_winter.xnb
 TileSheets: bushes.xnb, springobjects.xnb
 Characters: Marnie.xnb (overrides luau sprites only)

:Interface Mods:
Interface mods that replace the Cursors.xnb are compatible with Starblue Valley, as
are content packs that solely edit the interface. A complete list of overriden
tiles on the Cursors file is available in the Advanced Notes section.

:Grass:
Grass is located in a separate mod file, called StarblueValleyGrass. If you use a
different grass replacement that replaces XNB files like Ali's Flower Grass, the
easiest way is to delete StarblueValleyGrass. The recommended way is to open the
content.json in the StarblueValleyGrass folder and change the "Enabled": true to
false.

:Eemie's Victorian Mailbox:

Eemie's mailbox can be used with this mod by disabling the corresponding tiles. For
further instructions, see Advanced Notes.

:SlightlyCuterCharacterSprites:
The Festival and Desert NPCs from Slightly Cuter Character Sprites are, alas, not
compatible with Starblue Valley at this time.

::TERMS OF USE::
Alterations and edits are totally fine for personal use, no need to contact me. Do
NOT upload these anywhere else, and definitely do not claim credit for my work. If
you'd like to upload something based off this mod, please contact me.

If you post pics using my mods, feel free to shoot me a note or tag me on tumblr.
Not required by any means, I'm just nosy af.

::CREDITS::
Pathoschild and f4iTh (aka JertsukkaTheMan) for their work on Content Patcher.
Iluzio for the Natural Shade recolor, which saved my bacon on the winter and water
revamps. SchrodingersKit for the sunset flower barrel. Special thanks to Eemie for
her Medieval Map Recolors (inspiration for the spring and summer recolors) and
LavenderLight's A Toned Down Stardew Valley for inspiring my town recolors.

::ADVANCED NOTES::
:Cursors File:
The following objects on the Cursors tilesheet are called for my maps:
 the shipping box top
 Robin's construction equipment
 the train
 the festival spinner interface
 the weather debris
 the bus
 the Joja warehouse and winter roof
 the blockade to the mine
 the glittering boulders
 the spring and summer blockades to the spa
 Seb's garage and bike
 Elliott's boat
 and the hat house facade

Additional items (bachelor(ette) objects, wedding arch, gypsy wagon) may be added
in future updates. Interface tiles will always be "safe."

:Springobjects File:
As of right now, the only objects I have recolored on the springobjects file
are the weeds that grow around the farm and the wooden debris (sticks, stumps, and
logs). Additional debris and objects may be added in future updates. I won't touch
crops or other goods, don't worry.
:Marnie:
Included in this file is a tileset for Marnie at the luau, since she stirs the soup
basin. This will override any XNB sprite replacement. If you use a non-default
Marnie, you'll have to edit the marnieluau.png file in the assets folder.

:Palette Swapping Oak Trees:

By default, you downloaded either green or pink leaves for oak trees in spring.
Since the green/pink download ratio is close to 50/50, I have opted to include
resources for both green and pink oak trees in the assets folder, and handle which
assets display via the code. If you wish to switch from one tree color to the
other, you will need to disable your current tree color by setting the "Enabled"
flags to false, then set "Enabled" flags to true for the color you want.

The flags for the pink oak trees are at lines 24, 32, and 452.
The green oak tree flags are at lines 40, 48, and 458.

You can also use this to mix and match a little (have pink oak trees in the
background areas of the map, but green oak trees in accessible areas such as the
farm).

::Using Starblue Valley With Eemie's Vintage Mailbox::

As a courtesy to players, I have set up the outdoor tile sheets so that you can
"disable" the tiles containing the mailbox, allowing an XNB with Eemie's mailbox to
load instead (same as the interface mods). Unlike the interface mods, however, the
mailboxes are by default enabled. You will have to manually set the "Enabled" flag
to false on the following lines:
104, 112, 192, 200, 280, 288, 368, 376
If the default mailbox still appears, check to make sure you got both entries for
each season. Incidentally, Eemie's mailbox uses vanilla colors for snow in winter.
Unless Eemie decides to release a compatible file, you will have to live with the
discrepancy or fix it yourself.

::UPCOMING PROJECTS::
 wooden craftables set in my midtone woods (with mutiple hardware finishes)
 seasonal flooring
 blue spruce pine tree recolor
 better grass, possibly with flowers
