EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 11

Series of 2010

REORGANIZATION OF THE LOCAL ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND

APPEALS (LZBAA)

WHEREAS, it is mandated in the Municipal Ordinance no. 05 series of 2000 of the

Municipality otherwise known as the Zoning Ordinance to create a Local Zoning Board of
Adjustment and Appeals;

WHEREAS, to effectively implement the said provision in the Zoning Ordinance, a

Local Zoning Board of Adjustment and Appeals was created through Executive Order No.
21 series of 2008;

WHEREAS, the change of the set of Municipal Officials on account of the 2010
election needs the reorganization of the Local Zoning Board of Adjustment and Appeals;

NOW THEREFORE, I, LIECEL MONDEJAR-SEVILLE, Municipal Mayor of the

Municipality of New Lucena, Province of Iloilo, Philippines by virtue of the powers vested
upon me by law, hereby order the reorganization of Local Zoning Board of Adjustment and
Appeals.

Section 1. Composition of the Local Zoning Board of Adjustment and Appeals

(LZBAA):

Chairman: Liecel Mondejar-Seville, Municipal Mayor

Members: Ma. Roleta Hembra, Municipal Assessor
Herpolino Mana-ay Jr., Municipal Engineer
Isabelo Acollador, SB Member
Wilfredo Labaro, SB Member
Ma.Luisa Armentia, SB Member
Arthur Sipacio, NLMPCI
Jose Eliezar Sornito, Private Sector

Section 2. Duties and Functions. As provided in section 47 of the Zoning

Ordinance, the LZBAA shall perform the following duties and functions:

1. Act on the applications of the following:

a. Variances
b. Exceptions
c. Non Conforming uses
d. Complaint and opposition of applications

2. Act on appeals on grant or denial of locational clearance by the Zoning

Administrator/Zoning Officer.

This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
