Overview

With Adobe Presenter Video Express 2017 Release you get a personal video studio right at your desktop.
Save time, money and effort while you create, edit and mix interactive HD videos. Record yourself or your
screen, or bring in external video. Mix and enhance to transform the video viewing experience using
dynamic background replacement, effects, in-video questions and much more. Seamlessly deliver a multi-
device viewing experience, and enable the content for analytics.
Track learner performance with integration of leading LMSs that support SCORM. You can also directly
publish to Adobe Captivate Prime.

This document contains latest product information, updates, known issues, and some tips. The content is
not exhaustive.

Hardware and System Requirements

Mac OS X
Authoring
• Operating System: Mac OS X 10.10 and above
• Processor and memory: Early 2010, 4GB RAM, i3 Processor
• Around 1 GB hard disk space

Windows
Authoring
• Operating System (32 and 64 bit): Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10
• Processor and Memory: Intel® Core™2 Duo or AMD Phenom® II processor (Intel® CoreTM i3 or faster
recommended), 4GB RAM
• Around 1 GB hard disk space

Viewing
The video file is viewable on any video player that can play MP4 files. However, the HTML5 player that
is generated with the video file is supported on the following browser platforms:

On desktops

• Internet Explorer 10 or later

• Microsoft Edge on Windows 10
• Firefox 4.x or later
• Chrome 37.0 or later
• Safari 7.x or later
 On IPad
• Safari 6.0 or later
On Android tablets
• Chrome 37.0 or later

Installing Adobe Presenter Video Express 2017

1. Before you install Adobe Presenter Video Express, close all your Adobe applications.
2. Perform the following steps:
• If Adobe Presenter Video Express is already installed, uninstall it.
• Insert the DVD in your drive, and follow the on-screen instructions. (If the installer does not
launch automatically, double-click the set-up.exe installer at the root level of your disk to start
the installation process.)

3. On the Serial number screen, enter the serial key.

If you have purchased a subscription, then you need not enter the serial number. Ensure that you enter
the same Adobe ID with which you have purchased the subscription. Presenter Video Express identifies
the Adobe ID and the corresponding subscription plan that you have purchased, and licenses your
product automatically.

Uninstalling Adobe Presenter Video Express 2017

1. Open the Windows Control Panel and double-click Add or Remove Programs.
2. On Mac, under Applications->Adobe Presenter Video Express 2017 -> Uninstall
Note:
• Before uninstalling you may want to deactivate Adobe Presenter Video Express by choosing
Help > Deactivate and follow the on-screen instructions. You can run up to a maximum of two
activated software copies at any one time.
• To reinstall Adobe Presenter Video Express at any point in time, you need access to the
original installer (CD, DVD, or the installer files downloaded from the Adobe website).

Purchase from trial

Choose Activate from the Help menu and follow the on-screen instructions.

Electronic licensing

Adobe software may include electronic license (e-license) management technology to ensure compliance
with the License Agreement. When present, this technology prompts you to verify the license of your
product within 30 days after you start it for the first time. If prompted, verification is mandatory.
The on-screen prompt may ask you to activate the software. This verification process does not collect,
transmit, or use any personally identifiable information. To learn more, visit the Adobe web site
at http://www.adobe.com/activation.
Activate Adobe Presenter Video Express
If the Activation dialog box is not already open, choose Help > Sign In. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Note: If you want to install the product on a different computer, you must first deactivate the software on
your computer. To deactivate, choose Help > Sign Out.

When you install your software, be sure to register to get up-to-date product information, training,
newsletters and invitations to Adobe events and seminars.
