The DataSMART 658 single-port T1 add/drop DSU/CSU is

designed to cost-effectively multiplex voice, video, or data
services to the corporate LAN or to the Internet. Combine Features
traffic from a router, a PBX, or videoconferencing equipment
into a standard T1/FT1 signal using the built-in synchronous Integrates voice, video
or data for Frame Relay,
V.35 data port and DSX-1 port. The DataSMART 658 provides
leased-line or ISDN PRI
the flexibility and convenience to support standard T1 services
such as Frame Relay, leased-line, or ISDN PRI at Nx56 or Nx64 In-band or out-of-band

The DataSMART 658 is easy to install and maintain using the
front-panel LCD display, the RS 232 command line interface, Built-in Ethernet
Telnet, or SNMP. The front-panel LCD and LEDs indicate signal management port
status and alarms while multiple loopbacks aid troubleshooting. Extensive loopbacks and
Independent Bit Error Rate Test (BERT) functionality allows the independent BERT
user to send and detect various test codes.

Fully SNMP compliant, the DataSMART 658 can be managed GUI and Alarms Utility
by any SNMP manager. Built-in Ethernet and RS-232 control
