Tight round damper for explosive areas
Technical conditions for installation and operation

The C4 version is ideal as a shut-off damper in an area

where different system parts need to be hermetically
separated from each other. It can also be used as a shut-
off damper in air flow control devices. The maximum air
duct pressure is 1000 Pa.

Design
The damper is manufactured from a galvanized steel
Cert.No. FTZU 13 ATEX 0045 sheet and does not contain silicone. All the gaskets are
made of black rubber. The plastic cases are made
of PPO. All the materials used slow down fire expansion.

Description
Tune-R-Ex is a manually operated control as well as
a shut-off damper for round ducts, suitable for areas
with an increased risk of explosion. It is available in L

various versions, with the blade tightness class 1 or 4

and a casing type A or C in compliance with the EN 1751
regulation. The A1 version is ideal for usage in simple
installations for air volume control in round air ducts.
The C1 version is necessary for installation into a duct
with increased requirements for tightness against
the duct exterior or minimalization of leakage into
the external environment (e.g. in industrial areas, etc.).
