Chapter I

Introduction

This chapter commences an overview on the Rationale, Theoretical

Framework, Conceptual Framework, Research Paradigm, Statement of the

Problem, Hypothesis, Scope and Limitations of the Study, Significance of the

Study, and Definition of Terms.

Rationale

(5 LITERATURE FOREIGN)

This paper reports on research that was jointly conducted with a Year 10

Science teacher in an independent secondary school in the UK. Apple developed

the Beacon technology in 2013, and its primitive use in secondary education has

created much enthusiastic descriptive and web-based claims of its potential. If

teachers want to use the technology in their pedagogy, they should know how to

do this in theoretically and practically. When it comes to research methodology

,the research employed qualitative methods that can assess the both teacher’s

and student’s perspectives of what they have for pedagogy and limitations that

can use in their practice, by means of, interviews and observations .They also

revealed technological and user limitations that affect both the use and efficacy

of beacons in practice. Research is needed to quantify the effect of beacons on

students’ learning and to verify these findings. (Atherton, 2019)


The 4Cs critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity are

the basic skills all students need in the 21st century (National Education

Association, 2014). Additionally, technology is constantly emerging around us,

and expected to be part of every student's learning experienceThis book provides

practical suggestions and ideas to leverage the use of technology to guide

students toward thinking critically about what they are learning, building

interpersonal communication skills, working more effectively with teams, and

creating and innovating new ideas, concepts, and products. We decided to write

this book because we are striving to be 21st century educators who prepare our

students to live and work in a global society. We have found through trial and

error how technology creates environments where students can develop critical

thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity skills. (Stephanie Smith

Budhai and Laura McLaughlin Taddei, 2015)

The technology-mediated distance learning is becoming increasingly

important to business curricula. However, in the little theoretical development or

empirical research has examined teaching effectiveness in distance learning. So

as a result or consequence of this article draws from research in management

communications, education, and information systems to develop an initial

conceptualization of influences on technology-mediated distance learning

outcomes. It is then reports on an exploratory study utilizing both qualitative and

quantitative techniques examine the 24/7 students’ reactions to such distance

learning. (Jane Webster and Peter Hackley, 2017)


Education Technology in broader terms mean to organized or the

achievement of purpos, or making tool/technique. Technology is the knowledge

every useful now a day it because of high quality and good impacts to the

teachers. While the teachers are using technology during discussion the students

are interested to learn it use to improve individually learning and encourage

collaborate the topic. Arguably, some of these technological advancements have

increased stress levels and isolation within of “social”. It is the society. As it

appears, technology has had a rational impact on the meaning has touched

many different aspects of life including education, communication, transport,

war, and even fashion. (Hafsah Jan, 2010)

Conceptual Framework

The researchers own position in the problem, after their exposure to

various theories that have bearing on the problem, is hereby explained in this

framework. In this part, diagrammatic representation of the conceptual

framework was used.

Statement of the Problem

This research was conducted to determine the major problems in the

Impact of 21st Century Technology in Changing Standard Daily Lifestyle in VMUF

– SSHS Teachers.

Specifically, this study seeks to answer the following questions:

1. What is the importance of integrating digital technology as instructional

material of teacher educators in an autonomous university?

2. What are the impacts of integrating digital technology as instructional

material?

3. What are your views in implementing digital technology as new trend of

teaching?

Hypothesis

Scope and Limitations of the Study


This study was limited only on the Impact of 21 st Century Technology in

Changing Standard Daily Lifestyle of VMUF – SSHS Teachers only.

This study will focused on the Impact of 21 st Century Technology in

Changing Standard Daily Lifestyle. The respondent of this study was limited only

to the VMUF – SSHS Teachers. This study was conducted in Virgen Milagrosa

University Foundation 2019 – 2020.

This part of research presents the methods and the research design

Foundation Special Science High School. This study will be conducted in San

Carlos City, Pangasinan, Specifically in Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation.
