CODE OF ETHICS

I will be honest, honoring all commitments and promises, neglecting anything I know to be
Truth non-factual in my dealings with co-workers and with all content communicated to the public.
I will strive to communicate the truth of the whole Gospel in all of my actions.

I will welcome questions or criticisms from those around me,

Accountability holding myself answerable for my actions. I will be directed by the

influence of the community around me, so that if anything I do
violates God’s commands, others will know and will confront me.

Creative I will pursue creative excellence in all of my work, using the creativity with
which God has gifted me to faithfully and powerfully convey the truth of the

Excellence Gospel. Innovation and imagination will characterize everything I produce:

breaks, spots, designs, events, advertisements.

I will faithfully complete all of the requirements of my job, striving

Responsibility to serve the needs of my co-workers and the public. I will be

grounded in an understanding of my duties to both my radio
station and the community I serve.

I will not view myself more highly than I ought, but will put the interests of others
Humility above my own. Accountability with co-workers and friends will ensure that pride
has no place in my work or attitude.

I will honor my audience, co-workers, and station, viewing them with admiration.
Respect Decency, compassion, and understanding will characterize the way I relate to
others.

Public Trust
I will conduct myself and complete my work in a manner that ensures
the public’s confidence in the station I represent, understanding that
my work centers on them.

I will represent myself and my station in a way that avoids false, misleading, or
Fairness deceptive promotion. I will actively reject manipulations and tactics that harm the
public’s trust of my station and others’ trust of me.

I will maintain high ethical standards to ensure that nothing I do erodes my co-
Integrity workers’ or the public’s faith in me. In light of my relationship with the Lord, I will
pursue living a Spirit-led life that is above reproach.
