The candidates of Group B must participate in the Preparatory Japanese


Language Training (PJLT) in NCF Manila Campus.

ARRIVAL AT PJAC DORMITORY


 Check in at the PJAC dormitory on Monday, November 4, 2019 between
9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
 Access: See the attached map.

If you cannot arrive on the above date and time due to unavoidable
circumstances, text following details to 0915-982-7464.

NOTE: This number is only available for receiving the arrival notice
by text message. Please use email for other matters – inquiries,
etc.

SCHEDULE:
 Placement test on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.
Candidates are required to be present at NCF Manila Campus by 8:00 AM
for the placement test. Please wear your proper uniform.
 Orientation on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.
Candidates are required to be present at JSL Hall at NCF Manila Campus
by 11:00 AM for the orientation. (Uniform)
 PJLT starts on Thursday, November 7, 2019.
Candidates are required to be present at NCF Manila Campus by 8:00
AM. (Uniform)

*PUNCTUALITY MUST BE STRICTLY OBSERVED- ALL THE TIME

 There will be maximum of seven (7) class periods per day on weekdays
(Monday to Friday) and designated Saturdays.
Class hours are from 8:00 AM. to 3:50 PM.
 PJLT ends on Tuesday, May 19, 2020.

ITEMS TO BRING:
 “Candidate’s Pledge” with your own signature.
 Writing materials (pens, pencils, notebooks, etc.)
 Valid ID (government issued - SSS, GSIS, Voter's ID, Driver's License, Postal/Post
Office ID)
 Original Birth Certificate issued by PSA (formerly NSO) must be issued
within the year [2019]
 Marriage Certificate (if applicable) must be issued within the year [2019]
 Valid passport-updated- due date must be later than December 2020.
*If the due date of your passport is NOT later than December, 2020, still you
must bring for renewal.
 One (1) valid passport hard copy to be submitted to JPEPA (NCF) admin
office.
 Personal necessities/toiletry items (shampoo, soaps, etc.) and utensils
(spoon, fork, cup, plate, etc.)
*Beddings (Mattress is available at the dormitory. You need to bring your
own pillows, pillow sheet, blanket, bed sheets cover and alike. You may also
bring your own laundry bag/net, clothes hanger and toiletries kit for hygienic
purposes.)
*No cooking inside the dorm except for rice cooker and water heater but
pay for electric fee. No laundry except underwear and socks.
 Three (3) ID pictures (size: 1x1, 1 for your NCF Registration form, 1 for NCF
entry pass and 1 for opening a BPI account).
 Other electrical gadgets such electric fan, study lamp, etc., will be charged
accordingly.

Every candidate will open an account at BPI on Nov. 5 at NCF- for the allowance
from The Japan Foundation.
Bring the following things for opening an account;

 Original and Photocopy of Valid IDs


 1 x 1 ID Picture

LIST OF ACCEPTABLE IDS


Please provide any one (1) of the following Primary IDs
 Passport (including those issued by Foreign Governments)
 Driver's License
 SSS ID
 Unified Multipurpose ID
 PRC ID
 GSIS e-Card
 OWWA ID
 Seaman's Book
 Alien Certification of Registration / Immigrant Certificate of Registration
For Secondary IDs, please provide any two (2) of the following IDs
 NBI Clearance or Police Clearance (with signature)
 Postal ID (front and back)
 Voter's ID
 TIN ID
 Philhealth Card
 Pag-Ibig ID (with signature)
 Alumni ID
 Company ID - issued by Private Entities Institutions Registered with or
Supervised or Regulated either by BSP, SEC or Insurance Commission 9with
SSS # and TIN #)
ID should be:
1. Photo-bearing and with Signature
2. Valid (not expired)
3. Issued by an Official Authority

Php3,000 for the ATM account's initial deposit (Php3,000) will be paid by
The Japan Foundation; but, will be deducted from your 1st daily allowance.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
 Candidates should pay their own transportation fee going to NCF Manila
Campus and PJAC dormitory.
 Candidates must comply with the Rules and Regulations set by the JFM,
the NCF and PJAC dormitory.
 Candidates must bring the “Candidate’s Pledge” with your own signature
and submit to PJLT admin office on November 4, 2019.
 If you have inquiries about the Training, please email to
pjepa2019@gmail.com. Please note that NCF and PJAC dormitory do NOT
have the information about PJLT.
 The Japan Foundation will bear the cost of the dormitory charges and the
daily allowance to cover the candidates’ daily expenses during PJLT.
 Allowance will be paid from November 7, 2019 until May 19, 2020 except
during Christmas Holiday and Easter Holiday. No daily allowance will be
provided if the candidate is absent or stays out overnight on weekends.
 1st allowance will be paid by the middle of December 2019.
