1.0 Purpose
This document guides you on how to level and adjust the Z offset on Duplicator 6 Plus

2.0 Scope
This document establishes the specifications required for Duplicator 6 Plus and covers the
leveling method of firmware V2.24.hex

NOTE: Make sure you have the latest version of firmware installed on your printer.

3.0 Adjusting Z Offset

3.1 Go to the menu shown in the pictures below;

MAINTENANCE > LEVELING > Z PROBE OFFSET > CONTINUE

3.2 You will see the message Preparing… and the extruder goes right at the middle of print bed.

3.2 Here is where you should rotate the know and lower or raise the print bed. Rotating knob to
the right direction (Clockwise) will raise the print bed and closer to nozzle.

3.3 Use a paper as thin as A4 paper to ensure the proper distance between the nozzle and print
bed. Again, you can rotate the knob to the right and left and find the best distance between
nozzle and print bed.

3.4 After to set the Z offset at the middle of print bed then you should move the extruder all over
print bed and make sure you have the same distance in all over the print bed.

You Can again use the paper to ensure the distance between nozzle and print bed in different
corners of the print bed. By adjusting the spring under the print bed you can set the proper gap
between nozzle and print bed.

3.5 This process repeats for other corners of the print bed.

NOTE: Please try to be as accurate as possible for leveling the bed.

4.0 Finishing process

4.1 After finishing adjusting the Z offset and leveling print bed now you can press on CONTINUE.
It will ask you whether you want to Save the Z Offset process you made and you should press
YES.

4.2 Now press AUTO BED LEVELING and extruder moves all over the print bed. Please wait until
the extruder stops and the Auto bed leveling process is done.
