4C (21ST CENTURY LEARNING)

The implementation of the 2013 curriculum (K-13) has consequences for teachers
who must be more qualified in carrying out learning activities. Why is that? Because K-13
mandates the application of a scientific approach (5M) which includes observing, asking
questions, gathering information, reasoning / associating, and communicating. Then
optimize the role of the teacher in implementing 21st century learning and HOTS (Higher
Order Thinking Skills).

21st century education uses a term called 4C. 4C are four skills that have been
identified as 21st Century skills, which are very important and necessary skills for 21st
century education. 21st Century skills or termed 4C (Communication, Collaboration,
Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, and Creativity and Innovation) are the real abilities
to be addressed with the 2013 Curriculum. The following is an explanation of 4C.
Creativity Thinking and innovation is that Students can produce, develop, and implement
their ideas creatively both independently and in groups. Critical Thinking and Problem
Solving is that Students can identify, analyze, interpret, and evaluate evidence, arguments,
claims, and data presented extensively through in-depth study, and reflecting on it in daily
life. Communication is Students can communicate ideas and ideas effectively using oral,
written, and technology media. Collaboration is Student Participants can work together in a
group in solving problems found.

thus, why 4C is needed in the 21st century. Because, with 4C students are required
to have good communication with people, collaboration in the form of mutual cooperation
in groups and complement each other, solve problems with critical thinking and always
find something new or modify something that exists without copying it

“WHY WE HAVE TO STUDY PHYSICS”

Okay kids, today we will learn the most scary subjects he said. Surely you know whether
the lessons are familiar, right? Of course it's physics. Now we will discuss why we have to learn
physics, which is said to be the most scary lessons.

So the understanding of physics is the basic science of the physical universe that occurs
in our daily lives. Physics explains and describes scientific events that occur when a material
interacts with other matter from subatomic particles to galaxies in the sky. But unfortunately,
physics is generally considered difficult by some students. As if physics becomes something
scary. Studying physics at school becomes something unpleasant. What about the subject
teacher? Indeed, it cannot be denied. Physics teachers are often regarded as teachers who lack
humor and are too serious. Usually students are lazy to learn physics because they think:

1. Physics is considered a formula lesson

2. Physics requires reason and understanding

3. Teachers are too focused and seriously explain the lesson

4. Teachers do not use media and teaching aids

In fact, if we have the will to study physics, it turns out that physics is fun and provides
the following benefits:

1. Train logical thinking

Studying physics trains the way of thinking logically and systematically because it is
based on facts of everyday life such as acceleration of a car, the gravity of an apple falls to
electrical energy on a laptop. Understanding the unique concepts and facts of physics makes us
accustomed to thinking based on logic.

2. Understand natural phenomena

Physics also helps us to predict natural events that are important to human civilization.
We will understand how the world works from quantum mechanics, atomic structure to
astrophysics which will bring benefits to understanding natural phenomena.
3. Relevant to other fields of science

Physics is the foundation of knowledge for the development of other sciences such as in
engineering and medicine. For example medical students need to understand how blood and air
currents in the body through the concepts of pressure, flow velocity and changes in resistance to
flow. If you understand physics, it will be easy for you to apply it in other fields of science.

4. Following the development of technology

Technological advances are often based on discoveries in physics or improvisation from

basic physics. The development of rocket science, nuclear and so on which are applied from the
development of physics. Understanding physics will make it easier for us to understand the latest
technology.

5. Look smart

People who are good at physics are identical to smart people. You will get the nickname
Einstein when you understand physics. In addition to the benefits of science, you will also have
more pride.

That was why we had to study physics, it turns out that from difficult subjects there are
some benefits that we can get from the lessons that are said to be the most scary. So don't hesitate
and be afraid to study physics again.
