Various factors make a place meaningful to the individuals who are attached to them.

Whether stalks of prickly plants, towering red rocks, or a vibrant sunrise surround it, each

individual has a place that senses like home (Sandoval, 2016). People have varied choices of

sites that are of importance to them. However, every time one visits the places, they benefit in

diverse ways. Such areas provide leisure and memories and serve as a learning and growing aids

for people.

Phoenix Zoo is among the most significant places in my life. Whenever I visit this place,

I take several photos of the bridge situated at this zoo. It is always an excellent experience. The

reason why I chose and loved this place is that several years ago, people were raising funds for

the zoo, and my parents bought a brick. So, my name is engraved on this brick about halfway

across the bridge. Every time I visit the zoo, I look for the block and think about the love my

parents have for me and the much fun we had the first time we went there following the

completion of the zoo. There are other memorable places near the zoo, including Phoenix Valley

and Mcdowell Sonoran Realm. The location is a foundation and a site that brings a sense of

home while away from home. The place brings together the concepts of culture, globalization,

religion, and language, aspects that are so clear and present when traveling and meeting new

people.

Every time I am traveling to this place, I am eager to meet and make new global friends

as a fascinating place that draws many people from all over the world. On the way, I get to

observe many sceneries and nature that keeps me entertained. I also make some stopovers to

relax, something that makes my journey funnier. Visiting the site gives me learning as well as a

leisure experience. It has taught me the importance of appreciating the significance of particular
places in our lives and not others. Frequently, this type of reflection causes me to engage with

these places more and be thoughtful of why I spend my time there and the type of experience I

am pursuing.
