Proper use of SAFe®

certification marks
SAFe® certification marks represent individual
achievement. They are intended for use on
resumes, signature lines, and marketing by
the individual who achieved the certification.
The exception to this is when an SPC wishes
to use the certification mark in SAFe course
marketing materials.

Using certification marks

when marketing SAFe courses

As an SPC, you may use individual certification

marks in your marketing content, but only when
referring to the course and certification you are
promoting, or the credentials of the instructor
providing the training. When displaying
the mark, it must be clear that the mark is
associated with the individual instructor, or
You may not alter your certification mark in any way,

and layout in which it’s being used.
The certification marks should never be used
to imply that your organization itself has
achieved a SAFe certification.

Questions about permissions?

If you have additional questions about other branding or usage
of SAFe® content, please visit the Permissions FAQ page at
scaledagile.com/permission-faq.

To request permission to use content, grahpics, or brand

identification that is not authorized in this document, please
submit your request using the permissions form found at PERMISSION
scaledagile.com/permissions-form.

The permissions form prompts you for the necessary information

and most quickly routes your request to the appropriate person.
The process also creates a record with the specifics of the grant
or reasons for denial.

Permission requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Scaled

Agile does not grant general or blanket permissions, so please
help us understand what it is exactly that you want to use and
how you intend to use it when submitting a request.
