3G CAPACITY UPGRAGE (BASEBAND 6630 INSTALLATION AND INTERGRATION)

1.Install Baseband 6630 and Power it.

Ensure correct power connection (Baseband Power Connection)

2.Make sure you have the Script file and Upgrage package

3.Create a folder on C:\, name it and copy the 3-script file (XML form) and upgrade package to
that folder.

✓ NOTE: E1 Cable (TCU to 3G) is connected to TN C, thus you have to cross check on “site
basic script” to ensure there is TN C, if not edit to make it TN C
✓ Ensure that the upgrade package name is the same with the one on RBSSumary, if are not
the same, edit the package path on RBSSummary to that of Upgrage package.
4.On C:\, go to Cygwin → home →then create a folder and copy the remaining 2-Script file (MOS
form)
5.Set PC IP (Base band IP) and connect to baseband (LMT Port)

6.Open Core FTP mini-sftp-server,set User(rbs),Password(rbs),Port(22),Root path(C:\ your folder

name), Option(all enabled), IP/Address(Locahost/your PC IP),OK,START, minimize window
7.Open Webrowser and type https://169.254.2., set Host(PC IP), Username(rbs),Password(rbs),Site
Installation File(RBSSumary_SGD859.xml{from script file and end up with .xml),then DOWLOAD FILES,

After download Complete then Intergrate and after that switch to Moshell.
8. OPEN MOSHEL

✓ moshell 169.254.2.2 (Baseband IP)

✓ lt all (refresh)

✓ run 03_TN_SGD859.mos (This “03_TN_SGD859” you have to copy it from cygwin→home→

your folder name and ending up with .mos)
✓ run 04_RN_WRAN_SGD859.mos (This “04_RN_WRAN_SGD859” you have to copy it from
cygwin→home→ your folder name and ending up with .mos)
✓ cvms (save cv)
9.If it’s U9 you have to configure sink after complete Loading Script.

Connect Straight cable from Baseband (SYNC Port) to U9 DUG (GPS Port),then Login to this DUG and
proceed as follows .

Configuration → Define → Node Parameter

LETS INTERGRATOR PROCEED.

10.Define External Alarms or Make 900 Master.

MAKE 900 MASTER

✓ On SAU, DUG 900 EC Cable have to be connected on B1, DUG 1800 on A5 and DUG 7 7 on A6
and Login to each DUG to make these changes.

✓ DUG 900 Go to Configuration → Define →Node Parameter →

Support System Control (True)

Hub Position (B1)

External Node (Add A5 & A6)

✓ Configuration → Define → Present RUS → Add PDU, SAU

 ✓ Node Parameter → Define → (Present & Not Present)

Remove all PDU (PDU 0,1,2), RUS 01(0,1,2), SAU from Not Present to Present.

✓ Alarm Inlet → Define →Alarm Inlet

Hardware Unit (SAU 0)

External Alarm

Closing

Level 1

11. Configuration →Define → Power & Battery → Battery Power

Climate Control Module (Normal,(change)) →Battery Life Ext →Apply

“Node Has No Been Up” this means BB is Empty
