MIXING
ADJUST INPUT LEVELS Press INPUTS E, then SELECT I. Adjust GAIN (Knob 1) A

NAME A CHANNEL Press SELECT I. Press ⚙ icon on SCREEN K. Press Channel Name on Screen.

ADD GATE, COMP or EQ Press INPUTS E, then SELECT I. Press GATE, COMP or EQ B and activate by pressing on
screen. Using KNOBS A 1-8 adjust parameters to taste. Further settings are on screen.

USING PRESETS Press INPUTS E, then SELECT I. Press LOAD C, then select the scope of the Preset you’ll be
loading (Gate/Comp/EQ). Select the Preset, then press RECALL L.

If you’d like to SAVE a preset, press SAVE C, then select the scope of the Preset you’ll be
saving (Gate/Comp/EQ). Select the Preset, then press STORE L.

MUTE A CHANNEL Press INPUTS E, then MUTE J.

SET A MUTE GROUP While holding down any of the 8 USER FUNCTION buttons P, press SELECT I on any of the
Channels you wish to assign to that Mute Group.

SET UP DCAs Press DCA GROUPS O. While holding the SEL N of any of the DCAs, press SELECT I of any
of the Channels you wish to assign to that DCA.

EFFECTS
SELECTING EFFECTS Press any EFFECTS button H. Press ▼ on Screen and select the Effect you want.

Adjust Parameters to taste and/or use PRESETS in top right hand corner of Screen.

ADDING EFFECTS Press any EFFECTS button H. Bring MASTER Q up to 0dB, then bring up individual FADERS
to add the selected effect to that Channel.

CHECKING EFFECT RETURNS Press MAIN MIX F. Press NEXT > D until you see FX Returns. Confirm they are at 0dB.

MONITORS/NSBS
CONNECT EARMIX 16Ms Connect AUDIO NETWORK from MIXER to EARMIX 16M. Go to HOME>AUDIO ROUTING,
then DIGITAL PATCHING. Select the AVB SENDS TAB and scroll down to until you see the
“Mix 1, Mix 2…” settings in the “Assigned Source” column. Note the AVB Send #s (eg AVB
Send 41 thru 56). Press the ◀ on the Screen to go back, then select EARMIX SETUP.

Select the connected Earmix and set the 1-8 and 9-16 Sources to the AVB sends above.

MONITOR SEND LEVELS Press INPUTS E, then SELECT I. Press AUX/SUB/MATRIX 1-16. Set MASTER Q to 0dB, then
bring up individual FADERS to add the selected channel to that Monitor Send.

SETUP NSBs (Stage Boxes) If you want the Monitor Mixes to go to the NSBs (Networked Stage Boxes), connect AUDIO
NETWORK from Mixer to the NSB. Go to HOME>STAGEBOX SETUP, then assign the AVB
sends (for the Aux Mixes) to the NSB you want the Aux Mixes to go.
TROUBLESHOOTING !

NO SOUND MAIN SPEAKERS • Is Main Fader up? Is it MUTED?

• Are L/R OUTS on the rear panel connected to your speakers?

NO SOUND FROM CHANNEL • Is Channel Fader up? Is it MUTED? Is the Input C set to the correct Source?

NO SOUND EARMIX 16M • Is Earmix 16M connected? Receiving power (locally or through Ethernet)?
• Is the 16M Volume up?
• Make sure that the AVB sends from your Mixer are sent to the correct Earmix 

(HOME>AUDIO ROUTING>EARMIX SETUP)

NO SOUND MONITORS
If you use regular monitors (floor wedges or in ears fed by Aux Mixes)
• Is the Aux Master Q turned up?

(Press AUX/SUB/MATRIX 1-16 and adjust the Faders/Master)
• Is the Aux going to the correct output?

(HOME>AUDIO ROUTING>DIGITAL PATCHING>ANALOG SENDS)
• Are the floor wedges or in ear transmitters connected to that output on the rear panel?

NO EFFECTS • Is the Effects Master Q turned up?


(Press EFFECTS 1-8 and adjust the Faders/Master.)
• Are the EFFECTS RETURNS turned up?

(Press NEXT > D until you see FX Returns. Confirm they are at 0dB)
• Are the EFFECTS MASTER buttons muted?

MISCELLANEOUS
STORING ENTIRE CONSOLE In UC (Universal Control App), select the BACKUP tab. Click on BACKUP.

LOADING ENTIRE CONSOLE In UC (Universal Control App), select the BACKUP tab. Select a Backup & click on RESTORE.

FACTORY RESET While Holding FX BUTTON L, power up the unit. You may release the FX when you see the
Logo splash screen.

TALKBACK ROUTING Press HOME>TALKBACK EDIT and set the Talkback Mic (and level) to any Aux Mix or L/R.

USING TALKBACK Press TALK M and speak into EXT MIC. Set level by pressing MAIN MIX F then NEXT > D
until you see the Talkback TB Channel.
