Utilizing Technology on our UDL Journey 

At the heart of our instructional practices, the Universal Design for Learning Guidelines articulate how we strive to reach our learners through 
equitable access to learning. With technology integration embedded as a part of the learning journey, both our learners and leaders of our 
district have the availability and options for a deepended and comprehensive understanding of their study.

All students have access to a Chromebook   
(some students opt out for BYOD), as well as  EXAMPLE for PRIDE WOLF ​whose​ ​Graduation Year is 2020, and Birthday is 01/07/2002

Students will have digital citizenship lessons   
to begin the year. These are centered around  Digital Citizenship Lesson & Resource Folder 
Chromebook care, classroom management,   
and real-life peer situations with and  Chromebook Expectations within the PBIS Framework Poster 
regarding use of mobile devices.

directions from teachers before proceeding  All classrooms should have the Chromebook Expectations within PBIS Framework Poster

With the specific model of Chromebooks, 
there are a few shortcut keys for quick and 
easy access. 
 
Particularly helpful for students are the 
following shortcuts for students: 
 
Ctrl + F for finding keywords on a webpage 
 
Ctrl + F5 for taking a screenshot 
 
Ctrl + ‘Tab’ for a new web browsing tab
