THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY IN MY LIFE

Three months before I was seven years old, my teacher, Anne Sullivan, came to me. On the
afternoon of that day, I knew that something was happening. I went outside and waited on the
steps of the house. I could feel the sun on my face and I could touch the leaves of the plants. Then I
felt someone walking towards me. I thought it was my mother and she pick me up and held me
close. This was my teacher who had come to teach all things to me and, above all, to love me.

The next morning, the teacher took me into her room and gave me a doll. When I was playing
with it, Miss Sullivan slowly spelled the word “D-O-L-L” into my hand. I was interested and imitated
the movements with my fingers. I learnt a lot of words like this, but only after my teacher had been

One day, I didn’t understand the difference between “mud” and “water” I became angry and
threw the doll on the floor. In my quiet dark world, I didn’t feel sorry for doing it. Then my teacher
took me out into the warm sunshine. We walked down to the well where someone was drawing
water. My teacher put my hand under the water and spelled the world “W-A-T-E-R” at the same
time in my other hand. Suddenly, I felt an understanding, the mystery of the language was revealed
to me. I knew then that “W-A-T-E-R” was the wonderful cool something flowing over my hand. That

 Rose

If you are in love, you may remember a rose. It is a symbol of romantic thing. However do you
know the nature of this beautiful flower?
Rose is in a family of Rosaceae. The flower is large and showy. The colours range from white
through yellows and reds. Most species of rose are native to Asia, Europe, North America, and
northwest Africa. Rose plants can grow in different size from compact, miniature, to climbers
which reach 7 meters in height. (General Classification)

The popular species of roses are Banksianae, Caninae, Carolinae, Chinensis, Gallicanae.
Banksianae is a rose flower from China which is white and yellow. Caninae is a species from Asia,
Europe and North Africa which is pink and white. Carolinae is known from North America which
has a white, pink, and bright pink colour. Chinensis is a white, pink, yellow, red and mixed-color
rose from China and Burma. Gallicanae is a species of roses from western Asia and Europe which is

Roses are best known as ornamental plants grown for their flowers in the garden and
sometimes indoors. They have been also used for commercial perfumery and commercial cut

 Garbage Service need Improvement

There have been many complaints recently about the ABC garbage collection service.
The official department has agreed that the service needs improvement. But nothing has
been done! (Thesis)

In some streets the garbage is collected only once a month because the workmen are
not supervised. In other streets, collection in more frequent but half of the garbage is left
in the road. The workmen are too lazy to pick it up and put it in the trucks. (Argument)

In some parts of the colony, house-holders are dumping their garbage on the waste
land. This is dangerous and an unhealthy to do. These `dumps’ may catch fire and they will
certainly attract rats and flies. It is the duty of the official department to collect all the
