INTRODUCTION
This project aims to provide a service that contributes to society to support with preventive
health care in areas that are not very accessible to people who live near rivers and canals
of greater size in Mexico, because in some zoos they do not have the necessary medical
support, making it one of the most important factors in the migration of our communities
to urbanized areas. The aim is for this boat to have facilities suitable for meeting the needs
of patients and the needs of specialists in various fields of medicine. The dimensions of the
mobile floating clinic are sufficiently adequate to be able to navigate the rivers without any
impediment, and to cover the health difficulties of the crew that will live in the facilities,
considering the robustness of the propulsion system.
TRADE ROUTE
The area where the boat will navigate will be in the Papaloapan River, has a length of 354
kilometers to which there are 112 kilometers that could be navigable for this boat is worth
mentioning that the navigable miles are not continuous.
In addition, it should be taken into account that the depth levels of the Papaloapan River
vary constantly, affecting nearby villages. There have been times when it reaches great
depth and navigability and others when its waters are so low that the inhabitants can cross
on foot. In rainy seasons, it usually climbs 4 to almost 7 meters in its critical climb and has
standard depths of 3 to 3 and a half meters.
In 2006 dredging activities were carried out to counteract the overflow of the river in areas
of the municipalities of Carlos A. Carrillo and Cosamaloapan, the dredging work covered a
little more than 27 kilometers to which kilometers were left pending, the municipalities
mentioned above are some of the locations to which it could provide medical support, in
the following list will be put the municipalities and locations where our project barge could
cross:
LIMITATION OF DETAILS
- length: 40 meters
- beam: 10 meters
- Strut: 2.5 meter maximum
- Design draught: 1.75 meters
- Displacement: 585 tons
SPEED
Test speed in the 9-knot design.
STAFFING
The crew was assigned according to the services to be provided in our floating clinic.
DOTATION: It will have a staff of 16 people, in which they are.

REGISTRATION
PORT OF VERACRUZ, MEXICO
COMPLEMENT
A minimum staffing level compatible with registration and operational requirements is
desired. Additional accommodation must be provided for the 2-person crew, for
technicians, marine superintendents or other persons other than the crew.
SPECIAL DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
In the development of the design, the following considerations shall be specifically taken
into account, considering at all times the requirements of applicable regulations and/or
shipbuilding industry standards.
The structural design of the hull shall include the deck design for the positioning of
the solar cell.
The selection of the wastewater treatment plant and the water treatment plant
which will have the necessary space and life cycle cost considerations.
Because it will be navigating rivers, the barge must be able to dock without the aid
of tugs.
A checklist system will be provided for use during your visits to different
communities.
APPLICABLE REGULATIONS
In the development of the design, the future course of regulations aimed at environmental
issues will be investigated and responded to. Assessments should include, but are not
limited to, relative characteristics with respect to the ONU:
3.- Health and welfare. Ensure healthy living and promote well-being for all at all ages.
6.-Clean water and sanitation. To guarantee the availability of water and its sustainable
management and sanitation for all.
7.- Affordable and non-polluting energy. To guarantee access to affordable, safe,
sustainable and modern energy for all.
9.- Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure. Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive
and sustainable industrialization and encourage innovation.
14.- Life Below Water: To conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine
resources for sustainable development.
