ith each characteristic perfectly designed and produced using the
best materials and components, this yacht’s superior quality is
evident in the uncompromising standard of excellence of its
construction. Its interiors are in a classic style with a modern,
contemporary key, and, here too, utter perfection is the result.
Initially known provisionally as “Nice ‘N’ Easy II”, or by its code which was used
throughout the construction process, the motor yacht has finally been christened
with the evocative name Remember When. It’s a very special boat for a very special
client, one who has come to Christensen Shipyards as a repeat customer: the
automotive company tycoon John Rosatti, to whom the American shipyard built his
last yacht Nice N’ Easy, 157 feet in length, in 2005.
Last spring saw the launch of Remember When, 162 feet in length, which was built
and floated by Christensen Shipyards, based in Vancouver, Washington State. After
delivery, Remember When completed its maiden voyage in the Pacific Ocean with
Rosatti and his family aboard, sailing down the west coast of the US then along the
coasts of Mexico and Costa Rica. ➢

A general overview of the motor yacht

The exterior of Remember When has a precise finish produced using AwlGrip paints,
which add a coherent finishing touch to the pleasing aesthetics of a motor yacht
designed using extremely advanced procedures and built with highly technological
processes. As a result of its careful design and construction in composite material, the
boat has a gross tonnage value below 500 GT: for a yacht of this length and size,
remaining below this limit is especially significant as this element is currently an
increasingly decisive part of the specific commercial evaluation within the overall
management profile of a motor yacht. Christensen Shipyards have worked carefully
to perfect Remember When in every respect, completing its every feature with
uncompromising building excellence of the highest quality.
The best materials and ideal components for a vessel in this category have been used
so that it can be sailed in total tranquillity and complete security. With its exterior
design, devised as usual by Christensen Shipyards’ in-house team, the aesthetic
image of Remember When is that of an elegant motor yacht with classic shapes and
modern lines. The hull has dynamic, soaring lines, harmoniously melded with the
external decks of the superstructure, giving the motor yacht a sporty appearance
while simultaneously emanating a sense of solid grandeur.
Remember When’s spacious interior layout accommodates up to 12 / 14 passengers
in four large guest staterooms and the vast VIP suite, as well as the magnificent
Owner’s suite. It also accommodates up to 9 / 10 crew in four comfortable crew
cabins and a comfortable captain’s cabin. On board Remember When, the Owner
and his guests enjoy complete privacy, partly thanks to the separate accommodation
and accessways for the crew that have been designed to allow them to work
efficiently without intruding, even accidentally.
The outstanding design means that the Owner and his guests have very large interior
spaces available to them and similarly large external areas, thanks to a carefully
designed layout across all four decks of the motor yacht. Remember When’s interior
design is the work of the US firm Carol Williamson & Associates. ➢
