Excecutive Summary

This study aims to find out how the planting of character education discipline in
SMA Negeri 1 Pamekasan. In this case, the researchers Analyzed the use of
observation and interview methods. After that, the researchers provide
conclusions based on the information through the methods that have been used by
researchers. Based on the results obtained by the researchers, that in the process
of the formation of the character of discipline can be applied with the book of
discipline of the school, counseling teacher, and the teacher on duty.

INTRODUCTION

In general school, rules can be interpreted as a bond or a rule that must be adhered
to every citizen of the school where the course of the process of teaching and
learning. The implementation of the order of the school will be able to walk well
if the Teachers, officers, and students have mutual support against the order of the
school itself, the lack of the support of students will result in less meaninglessness
of the rules of procedure the school which applied in the school.

Regulations school the form of school rules is a collection of rules that are made
in writing and binding on the environment of the school. It can be understood that
the order of the school is a unity that cannot be separated from one other as a rule
which applies in the school so the educational process can take place effectively
and efficiently.

Students in the following learning activities in the school will not be separated
from the various rules and regulations imposed in the school, and each student is
expected to behave by the rules and regulations of the school. Compliance and
obedience of the students to the various rules and regulations that are applied in
the school called the discipline of students. While rules, regulations, and various
other provisions that seek to regulate the behavior of students referred to school
discipline. School discipline is a business school for maintaining student behavior
in order not to deviate and can push students to behave by the norms, rules and
regulations that apply in school.

ANALYSIS

Based on interviews and observations made by the researcher to obtain data as


follows, the formation of character discipline students through regulation school.
There are 3 media used for the formation of character discipline students at
SMAN 1 Pamekasan, namely the book of discipline, teacher guidance counseling
and the teacher on duty. With the media, it can shape the character discipline of
the students.

85% of all the students in SMAN 1 Pamekasan, managed to have the character of
such a discipline is expected of the school. Therefore the students and the teacher
are expected to still can maintain the character of the discipline. 15% that some
students still lack the self-awareness to the discipline. Because the teachers must
pay more attention to and direct students.

ALTERNATIVES

The alternative for the students the less will be the self-awareness to the
discipline, teachers expected more firmly to redirect less obedient students will
the rules in school.

If the students were still less self-conscious and still less comply with regulations
in school, will get penalized or point already listed in the rule book of the school
of sman 1 pamekasan.

RECOMMENDATION AND IMPLEMENTATION PLAN

Students have rights and obligations in school. In addition to the rights and
obligations of the students are obliged to follow and adhere to the regulations that
have been made by the school. The school expects every teacher not only plays a
role teach but also to educate the students, so that the students do not hany has a
cognitive intelligence but have good character and discipline.
CONCLUSION

Can it be understood that the order of the school is a unity that is not can be
separated from one another as the rules that apply in school so that the educational
process can take place with effective and efficient. School rules are very
important. Without the regulations then the school or an agency will not be run by
what we want, and it will impede the process of the achievement of the vision of
the school. Not only that the regulations are also very helpful as a reflection or
evaluation materials if the violation occurs at the school.

In the entire order at SMAN 1 Pamekasan is already running with better. Students
already comply with the rules of the good enough. But still, there are violations
committed by some students in school. Students who violate the discipline in
SMAN 1 Pamekasan will subject to sanctions in the form of a verbal warning,
written warning, and the scores/points by the calculation and the time specified.
