Our Doctrine
Beth Eden Baptist School is the ministry of Beth Eden Baptist Church and thus maintains the same
doctrinal position as set forth in the constitution of Beth Eden Baptist Church.
The following briefly describes our position:
• The Holy Bible was written inerrant in its original languages by men divinely inspired.
The Bible is the supreme standard for all human conduct.
• There is one loving and true God
- an infinite, perfect Spirit and personal Being.
- in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
• The salvation of sinners is completed by grace through the mediatorial work of Jesus Christ,
who by His death made a full atonement (covering) for sin.
• In order to be saved, sinners must be regenerated or born again.
• Sanctification is a process of growth by which we are made partakers of His holiness. It is
carried on in the hearts of believers throughout their earthly life, by the presence and power
of the Holy Spirit. The speaking of “tongues” today is not a manifestation of the Holy Spirit’s
New Testament work.
• All true believers endure unto the end; kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation.
• Both Christian ordinances, baptism and the Lord’s Supper, are each a memorial, a symbol,
and a prophecy.
• The six days of creation in Genesis, chapter one, were solar days of twenty-four hours each.
• The first day of the week is the Lord’s Day and is a Christian institution that is to be honored
by worship and Bible study in a local church.
• Jesus rose from the dead bodily. He now exists in His glorified body at God’s right hand.
• The end of the age is approaching. The wicked will be judged to endless punishment (Hell),
and the righteous to endless joy (Heaven). We believe in the pretribulational rapture and
personal, visible, premillennial return of Christ with the restoration
of Israel to her Kingdom.
• In Jesus are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Thus, an adequate system of schools is beneficial to complete a
spiritual program of the church, and that the cause of education
among New Testament churches is coordinate with the causes
of evangelism, missions, and general benevolence, and should
receive along with these the liberal support of God’s people.
• Every Christian is under obligation to seek to make the will of
Christ relevant to his own life and to that of human society.
4
Our Philosophy
We believe the foundation for accomplishing our purpose must be and is
CHRIST. In I Corinthians 3:11 it states: “For other foundation can no man lay
than that is laid which is Jesus Christ.” Psalm 11:3 warns, “If the foundation
be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” The Apostle Paul summarized it
this way in Philippians 1:21, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
• We believe that an individual who allows the Lord to govern his life will demonstrate proper
Christian character.
• We believe that we need to establish models of Christian character for students to emulate.
• We believe that the parents have been given by God the responsibility of educating their
children, and that Beth Eden Baptist School acts as an extension of Beth Eden Baptist Church
to assist parents in their God-given responsibility.
• We believe in utilizing Biblical methods of correction for training and that strong discipline is to
be maintained.
• We believe that our country was founded upon Christian principles and that our students must
be taught Christian principles in order to influence America for Christ.
• We believe that the local church is God's organization for this age, thus, it will be promoted
through this school.
• We believe in pledging allegiance to the Bible, the Christian flag and the American flag.
• We believe that every student attending Beth Eden Baptist School deserves to be educated
to their fullest potential in an atmosphere which is challenging, exciting, caring and uplifting.
• We believe that Beth Eden Baptist School should provide opportunities for students to develop
and practice positive leadership, Christian service and Christian example.

Elementary Discipline Policy
Working Together
Beth Eden Baptist School believes in the spiritual admonition, “Train up a child in the
way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6).
We believe that the school and home should work together for the best interests of
the child. To build Christian character in each student, and for the sake of the
school, the following behavior will not be tolerated, and may lead to expulsion:
swearing, lying, stealing, disobedience, and disrespect.
When a child breaks the rules, we first counsel with him or her. Additional disobedi-
ence, depending on the infraction, may result in a missed recess, an extra reading
assignment, or some other means to help emphasize the importance of obeying the
rules.
Most children do better when they solicit God’s help and further action need not be
taken. However, when talking and counseling have no effect, parents will be asked to
meet with the teacher and possibly the administrator. Together, a plan of action will
be formulated to best meet the needs of the child.
Your Part
We urgently ask parents to pray for
their children on a regular basis, to
encourage them by word and example
in the Christian life, and to show total
support for the standards of Beth Eden
Baptist School. We ask students to be
determined to defeat Satan in their Our Part
lives, and be dedicated to building a
closer walk and friendship with the We sincerely desire God’s best for
Lord Jesus Christ. your children. The administration and
faculty are committed to praying for
our students on a regular basis, to
recognize each individual student as a
unique creation of God, to treat each
student with fairness and respect, and
to exemplify Christ-like behavior at
all times.
