Corona – a family of viruses has been existing for long
affecting and infecting animals. One of the members of the
family had undergone a specific type of mutation that led
to its ability to infect the human body and cause the flu.
This very mutation happened to be observed in China for
the first time where the virus entered a human body and
then it multiplied and so, entered the other humans and
caused a pandemic.
And till date it has
travelled & infected
the humans in more
than 190 countries.
Among the
characteristics of the
viral mode of
infection, is the fact that it enters the body through the
nasal tract, stays in the upper respiratory passage for many
days being asymptomatic but grows and multiplies in the
meanwhile. And eventually it starts showing its symptoms
like flu, fever and shorten of breath. People with the strong
immune system can get over the symptoms and can
withstand the condition until the virus has completed its
infection cycle and leaves the body. But those who have a
weak and deficient immune system can have serious
problems like very difficult breathing, oxygen deficiency
and others. Some lucky ones still survive and others die of
the disease.
But the irony is that, the lucky ones who have survived are
also a serious problem because they can be a vector and
carrier of the germ and infect people while not knowing
that they are harmful for the society.

And this is the actual problem. Experts suggest a step of
social distancing to be the only way to prevent the disease
from spreading. And this has become a challenge for the
governments to make people aware of the importance of
social distancing.
As developing countries don’t have enough resources to
perform such as expensive tests so enormously that, they
can separate the patients or the carriers from an open
population. So, in order to cope with the current situation.
Govt. should
take the record
of the people
who have got a
recent travel
history and
should pursue
them to their
places and get
them checked
for the virus because they can be the ones who are carrying
the virus from the country they have arrived. Not only the
travelers, the test should also be performed for their family
members and the friends or people they have met. This
could be helpful in tracing and stopping the virus from
spreading.
Apart from this, Govt. should make small sample size in
the particular area and test the people for virus and check
the presence of the virus in the area.
As responsible citizens, people should also be cooperative
with the step’s government wants to take for the
prevention and stopping. As there is a group of people who
does not cooperate and is discouraging others for that
because they think that the spreading of virus is just a
rumor or it is just a foreign conspiracy. But it should be
understood that above all the stories prevailing all around
the virus does exist. No matters how did it come, it has
come and is ready to infect us.

As this is the need of the hour that people should practice

social distancing strictly and should tell others who are not
well aware of the problem. People should use face masks
if they have to go outside and keep hand sanitizers with
them all the time. Hands should be washed more
frequently. Nose should be covered, no handshakes and
hugs should be there in the public. Because social
distancing and staying home can only help in breaking the
chain and stopping the disease of death from spreading in
our community. More and more immunity boosting food
should be made a part of the daily meals.

Well, Staying home means no work, industries closed, no

export, no import, no remittances and all due to a
pandemic. In this situation, the private industries should
be thanked for standing with the labor by paying them with
the salaries even when there is no work. That’s a great act
of generosity in their hour of need.

Concluding the discussion, there is an appeal for the

governments to support the private industries for a specific
time period by minimizing the duties and taxes on the
import & export so they can expand the businesses after
this pandemic is over. Rebate percentage should be
increased and they should create a more helpful
environment for the exporters and should start a tax return
with the easy documentations. So, that people of the
country could get a relief from the stress of the financial
and economic pressures.

We should pray to God along with the precautions, that the

pandemic ends soon with the least loss caused to the
humanity.
