yo me bhaktyā prayacchati Bg 7.14 tad ahaṁ bhakty-upahṛtam daivī hy eṣā guṇa-mayī aśnāmi prayatātmanaḥ mama māyā duratyayā TRANSLATION: If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, mām eva ye prapadyante a flower, a fruit or water, I will accept it. māyām etāṁ taranti te TRANSLATION:This divine energy of Mine, consisting of the Bg 9.27 three modes of material nature, is difficult to overcome. yat karoṣi yad aśnāsi But those who have surrendered unto Me can easily cross yaj juhoṣi dadāsi yat beyond it. yat tapasyasi kaunteya Bg 8.5 tat kuruṣva mad-arpaṇam anta-kāle ca mām eva TRANSLATION: Whatever you do, whatever you eat, smaran muktvā kalevaram whatever you offer or give away, and whatever austerities yaḥ prayāti sa mad-bhāvaṁ you perform – do that, O son of Kuntī, as an offering to yāti nāsty atra saṁśayaḥ Me. TRANSLATION: And whoever, at the end of his life, quits his Bg 10.8 body remembering Me alone at once attains My nature. Of ahaṁ sarvasya prabhavo this there is no doubt. mattaḥ sarvaṁ pravartate Bg 9.2 iti matvā bhajante māṁ rāja-vidyā rāja-guhyaṁ budhā bhāva-samanvitāḥ pavitram idam uttamam TRANSLATION: I am the source of all spiritual and material pratyakṣāvagamaṁ dharmyaṁ worlds. Everything emanates from Me. The wise who su-sukhaṁ kartum avyayam perfectly know this engage in My devotional service and TRANSLATION: This knowledge is the king of education, the worship Me with all their hearts. most secret of all secrets. It is the purest knowledge, and Bg 10.9 because it gives direct perception of the self by realization, it is the perfection of religion. It is everlasting, and it is mac-cittā mad-gata-prāṇā joyfully performed. bodhayantaḥ parasparam Bg 9.14 satataṁ kīrtayanto māṁ kathayantaś ca māṁ nityaṁ yatantaś ca dṛḍha-vratāḥ tuṣyanti ca ramanti ca namasyantaś ca māṁ bhaktyā TRANSLATION: The thoughts of My pure devotees dwell in nitya-yuktā upāsate Me, their lives are fully devoted to My service, and they TRANSLATION: Always chanting My glories, endeavoring with derive great satisfaction and bliss from always great determination, bowing down before Me, these great enlightening one another and conversing about Me. souls perpetually worship Me with devotion. Bg 10.10 Bg 9.21 teṣāṁ satata-yuktānāṁ te taṁ bhuktvā svarga-lokaṁ viśālaṁ bhajatāṁ prīti-pūrvakam kṣīṇe puṇye martya-lokaṁ viśanti dadāmi buddhi-yogaṁ taṁ evaṁ trayī-dharmam anuprapannā yena mām upayānti te gatāgataṁ kāma-kāmā labhante TRANSLATION: To those who are constantly devoted to TRANSLATION: When they have thus enjoyed vast heavenly serving Me with love, I give the understanding by which sense pleasure and the results of their pious activities are they can come to Me. exhausted, they return to this mortal planet again. Thus those who seek sense enjoyment by adhering to the Bg 10.11 principles of the three Vedas achieve only repeated birth teṣām evānukampārtham and death. aham ajñāna-jaṁ tamaḥ nāśayāmy ātma-bhāva-stho Bg 9.23 jñāna-dīpena bhāsvatā ye ’py anya-devatā-bhaktā TRANSLATION: To show them special mercy, I, dwelling in yajante śraddhayānvitāḥ their hearts, destroy with the shining lamp of knowledge te ’pi mām eva kaunteya the darkness born of ignorance. yajanty avidhi-pūrvakam TRANSLATION: Those who are devotees of other gods and Bg 12.5 who worship them with faith actually worship only Me, O kleśo ’dhika-taras teṣām son of Kuntī, but they do so in a wrong way. avyaktāsakta-cetasām avyaktā hi gatir duḥkhaṁ Bg 9.26 dehavadbhir avāpyate TRANSLATION: For those whose minds are attached to the unmanifested, impersonal feature of the Supreme, advancement is very troublesome. To make progress in that discipline is always difficult for those who are embodied.
