Part time jobs for high school students

A student’s life is usually the most important part of a person's life.

A future of person depends upon the student life. Nowadays, the trend of

part time jobs among high school students has been increasing rapidly since

last decade. Also, there are numerous students work part time in their leisure

time for the betterment of the future. High school students should have part

time jobs in their free time for reasons such as developing interpersonal

skills, managing money and increasing awareness.

First, part time jobs help to high school students to develop

their interpersonal skills. For instance, students will have learned how to

make a decision to handle the problems in different situations. Apart from

that, students can involve themselves for making a personal decision.

Furthermore, students can take professional decisions on the basis of

working experience. In addition, students will learn how to communicate

with people during their part time jobs. Basically, students verbal
communication is improved by talking with people at work. Also, they will

learn how to write an official letter, orders, and notes. As a result, part time

jobs are beneficial for high school students to improve their interpersonal

skills especially their decision making and communication skills.

Second, high school students should learn how to manage money by

doing part time jobs. students will have the chance of learning the value of

money while doing part time jobs. Moreover, students will pay less amount

on the shopping by knowing the value of money because they understand how

hard it is to earn money as compared to waste money.In addition, students

can learn how to invest money on various sources for savings. Also, they

can learn how to earn extra money from limited sources of money. Moreover,

they will get experience in investing money on different sources for future

betterment. All in all, students will learn the value of money by reducing

their shopping expenses and earn extra money for the future via starting an

investment of money.

Third, part time jobs are useful to high school students to develop
their awareness level. For example, students will be aware about the social

life of people. In addition, students will understand social problems that are

generally faced by the common people. Further, students will have to work

in a social environment. Therefore, they will understand social environment

conditions. Students will be aware about what kind of problems that are

faced by their co-workers at work. Also, they will understand their working

environment, working policies, working conditions and work contracts. As a

result, students will be aware about their social and work forces conditions.

To sum up, it is a valuable experience for high school students to

have part time jobs because they will learn not only interpersonal skills and

money management but also they have chance to gain social as well as

working knowledge. So all these reasons will provide benefits to high

school students for growing up in their lives.
