2. Plain Dissecting Forceps :-

• Delicate Structure को Hold कर िलए,

जै- Vessels, Nerve, Peritoneum and
Muscles

3. Toothed Dissecting Forceps :-

• Toothed Forceps यह Wound

Surrounding muscle एवंSkin को grasp
एवंhold कर िलए काम |

• इस टप पर Teeth जै
सी Structure पायी
जाती ।

4. Adson Dissecting Forceps :-

• Adson Dissecting Tooth Forceps

• Used in Plastic Surgery

• Adson Dissecting Non Toothed Forceps

• to Hold delicate or Superficial Tissue

5. Cheatle Forceps :-

• Sterile Equipments को Boiler एवं

Formaline cabinet Remove कर िल

• Sterile Gauze को Sterile Gauze Drum

बाहर नकाल िलए ।
• Cheatle forceps का जब Use ना हो, उस व त
Forceps को Methylated sprit container
रख ।

6. Long Straight Artery Forceps :-

• यह मुयतः Surgical Procedure दौरान

Bleeding को Control कर काम ।

• Rupture Uterus Case Uterus को

remove कर व त Pedical को clamp कर
िलए काम ।

7. Curved Forceps Artery :-

• Used for Hematostasis

• Peritoneum एवंFascia Edges को

hold एवं Cut कर िलए curved artery
forceps का use कर ।

8. Sponge Holding Forceps / Foerster Ballenger Spongue Forceps :-

• Forceps सामा यतयः Surgical

Procedure दौरान Gauze Squares को
पकड़ िलए काम िजस Gauze,
Surgical site पर नकल वा Blood एवं
fluid को absorb कर स ।

9. Kocher's Artery Forceps :-

• To clamp the Umbilical cord for batter Grip

• To Clamp the Occuled Vessels for

Effective Crushing effect

• In Case of low rupture membrane as

Surgical induction of labour or
augmentation of labour.

10. Allis tissue Forceps :-

•D&E दौरान Cervix anterior lip को hold कर िलए ।

• to hold the margin of the Peritoneum,

rectus sheath & Vaginal Mucosa.

• Episiotomy wound apex part को

repairing व त hold कर तु।

11. Vulsellum :-

• Vaginal Operations दौरान ( उदा. D&C ).

• to Grasp Prolapsed Submucosa during a

Vaginal Myomectomy.

• Uterus की Mobility को evaluate कर िलए ।

12. Babcock Tissue Forceps :-

• इसका tip Part Finger Ring shape का होता ।

• इसका Use Laser Procedure दौरान Delicate

tissue को Grasp कर तु काम , इसका
मुयतः उपयोग Intestinal एवं
laparotomy
Procedures दौरान होता ।

13. Straight Mosquito Forceps :-

• Artery एवं
Blood Vessels को Grasp कर िलए

• Delicate tissues को पकड़ िल

14. Ovum Forceps :-

• Instrument, Abortion एवं

MTP Operation
दौरान Conception Product को remove कर
काम ।

15. Cosco's Bivalve Vaginal Speculum :-

• Cervix एवं
Vaginal Fornices को Visualise कर िलए

• Cervix को inspect कर Cytology Screening

तू िलए
Cervical smear िलए ।

16. SIM'S Vaginal Speculum :-

• Pap smear तू

• CU-T Insertion एवं

Remove कर तू
।

• D&E दौरान

17. Uterine Sound :-

• इसका Use Abnormal Uterine contents की Position का पता लगा कर । ( जै- Tumour,
Polyp, Placenta pieces एवं
Products of Conception ).

18. Uterine Flushing Curette :-

• During D&E

• Uterine Cavity को flush कर तू

19. Cervical Dilators :-

• Evacuation Operations पह Cervical

canal को Dilate कर तू काम ।

20. Pelvimetry :-

• Pelvic types को पहचान िलए

• Spontaneous labour

21. Episiotomy Scissors :-

• इसका use Vaginal delivery

दौरान Fetal head को Vaginal Canal
safe नकाल तु mother
Perineal Skin एवंTissue पर एक cut
लगा ।

22. Umbilical Cord Cutting Scissor :-

• Umbilical Cord को Cut कर िलए

23. Doyen's Retractor :-

• Abdominal wall को retract कर िलए काम

।
• LSCS दौरान Lower Uterine Segment को
Proper Expose करा तू।

24. Deaver Retractor :-

• Abdominal एवं Thorasic procedure

दौरान Abdominal wall को hold कर रख
िलए काम ।
• Surgical site Organs को Move कर
िलए काम ।
