H E L LO !
In this document I have a written instructions to accompany the video I made for this
weeks class. I used household items for all projects so hopefully you will have some/all of
the materials at hand!
There are three options of tasks to complete this week. Once you have experimented
with each task, I would like you to try and combine the projects!
Step 2 - Take a handfull of sheets together and cut along your markings.
Step 3 - Fold each strip in half and cut along the fold.
Step 4 - Gather about 15 (it does not have to be exact) of theese small rectangles together.
Step 5 - Ajust them to make sure they are straight by tapping one side against the table and staple.
Step 6 - Make one or two or three of these small booklets and attach them together with sellotape. The more pages
you add the longer the animation.
Step 7 - Trim the edges of your flip book so they are even.
Step 8 - Now you want to choose something to depict to come to life in your flip book! I suggest something relatively
simple to start. The example I have used is a rainbow growing.
Step 9 - Start drawing on the last page of your notebook!
Bubble Painting!
Materials needed : paper, washing up liquid, empty plastic
bottle, paint/ food colouring, piece of old material/ dish cloth.
Step 1 - Cut bottle in half and keep the side where the lid would be.
Step 2 - Make a bubble mix with water, washing up liquid and paint/ food colouring.
Step 3 - Hold the material tight around the base of the bottle.
Step 4 - Dip the material in to your bubble mixture and lightly blow through the lid of your
bottle over paper.
Step 3 - Bring your page outside and skake excess salt off. Allow to fully dry.
Step 4 - Add colour! Either with water soluble paint mix or food colouring!
Well Done!!
I cannot wait to see/ hear about what you guys
have made! So if you can take photos!
