CLEAN AGENT SLAVE ACTUATION PACKAGE

DESCRIPTION
The Slave Actuation Package, P/N 70-173, is used when multiple solenoid
operated clean agent containers are in a manifold style arrangement. The
Master Actuation Package starts the clean agent discharge sequence. Each
additional clean agent container requires a Slave Actuation Package.

The Pneumatic Valve of the Slave Actuation Package is actuated from

nitrogen pressure from the previous Master Actuation Package.

PNEUMATIC VALVE
The minimum pressure required to operate the actuator is 12 barg. Once
actuated, the valve must be manually reset. Refer to Fike Actuator Recharge
Manual, P/N 06-321 for instructions.

NITROGEN CYLINDER
The Slave Actuation Package comes equipped with a rechargable nitrogen
cylinder with a charge pressure of 160 bar at 15oC. Refer to Fike Actuator
Recharge Manual, P/N 06-321, for recharge instructions.
The nitrogen pressure is continuously monitored by a combination pressure
gauge/switch assambly included in the actuator assembly.

INSTALLATION
The Slave Actuation Package comes equipped with a mounting bracket and is securely anchored at a maximum of 1
metre from the clean agent storage container it is intended to actuate. Two flexible pilot hoses are included with the
actuation kit to connect the Slave Actuation Package to the clean agent storage container and to the previous Master
or Slave actuation package in the manifold line.
