1. Conduct a suitable experiment to obtain the V-I characteristics of a semiconductor based device
which is used as an uncontrolled rectifier, Also compute the values of threshold voltage, reverse
leakage current and dynamic resistance.

2. Conduct a suitable experiment to obtain the V-I characteristics of a semiconductor based device
which is used as a voltage regulator. Also compute the value of reverse leakage current and
breakdown voltage.

3. Plot the Input and Output characteristics of an NPN transistor connected in Common Emitter
Configuration and determine the input resistance and current gain.

4. a) Conduct an experiment to determine the transfer characteristics of JFET and


determine gm.
b) Determine the drain characteristics of a given JFET and find the drain resistance (rd),
amplification factor (μ) .

5. Conduct an experiment to determine the VI characteristics of UJT and determine


the intrinsic – stand off ratio.

6. Construct logic gates AND, NOT, EX-NOR and EX-OR using NAND gates only and verify their
truth tables.

7. a) Construct a logic circuit for the addition of two one-bit numbers, write down the
corresponding logic expression and verify its truth table.
b) Construct a logic circuit for the addition of three one-bit numbers, write down the
corresponding logic expression and verify its truth table.

8. Design and construct the Operational amplifier as Adder, Subtractor, Integrator & Differentiator,
Inverting and Non inverting amplifier.

9. Design and implement a 4–bit Serial-in Parallel-out, Parallel-in Serial-out Shift Register. Verify
the operation with its truth table and draw the output waveforms.

10. Construct a Mod-7 Binary asynchronous counter. Verify its truth table and draw the output
waveforms.

11. Construct a Decade synchronous binary counter. Verify its truth table and draw the output
waveforms.

12. Design and Construct a Wien Bridge Oscillator. Obtain its output waveform and find its
frequency of oscillation..

13. Design and Construct a RC Phase Shift Oscillator. Obtain its output waveform and find its
frequency of oscillation.

14. a)Write an assembly language program


to add two binary numbers of 8-bit data stored in memory locations 8C40H and 8C41H and
store the result in 8C42H and 8C43H.

b) Write an assembly language program to subtract two numbers of 8-bit data stored in memory
locations 8C40H and 8C41H. Store the magnitude of the result in 8C42H. If the result is positive
store 00 in 8C43H or if the result is negative store 01in 8C43H.

15. a)Write an assembly language program to multiply two numbers of 8–bit data stored in memory
8C4OH and 8C41H. Store the product in 8C42H and 8C43H.

b) Write an assembly language program to divide two numbers of 8 –bit data using 8085 kit

16. a) Write an assembly language program to find the maximum and minimum of the given block
of data.
b) Write an assembly language program to move a string from source to destination.

17. a) Write an ALP to run a stepper motor at different speeds in two directions and observe
the actions which takes place.
b) Write an ALP to run a stepper motor for required angle within 3600, which is
equivalent to 256 steps.

18. Write an assembly language program for transferring a block of data using different addressing
modes.

19. Write an assembly language program to sort a block of data in ascending order and find the
largest number and display it in the data field. The data is stored in memory starting from
8C40H. The first element gives the count value for the number of elements in the block.

20. Write an assembly language program to sort a block of data in descending order and find the
smallest number and display it in the data field. The data is stored in memory starting from
8C40H. The first element gives the count value for the number of elements in the block.
