THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN E-BOOK AND PRINTED BOOK

Reading books is one of the most enjoyable activities for many people.
Besides being fun, this activity that can be called a hobby also has many
benefits. With a lot of reading can add knowledge and insight. In this highly
sophisticated era, there is a change in the activity of reading books. In the
past, everyone used to read books to learn through printed books that they
usually borrow from libraries or also buy in bookstores such as Gramedia. In
this essay, i want to explain some of the differences between e-book and
printed book.

The first things that makes difference is device. E-books have properties
which is portable. Therefore, the e-books requires supporting devices such as
smartphones, computers, and laptops. Printed book does not require a
device. If reader have a printed or physical book, take care of the book.

The second difference is price. For e-book reader they can get the books
they like for free by downloading the file. Readers only need a quota, with
that capital the reader can get a variety of books. If there is a cost, but not
as expensive as a printed book. In contrast, printed book must go through
several stages that require a lot of cost such as editing and printing. That is
what causes oriented books to be more expensive than e-books.

The last difference is how to get it. To get an e-books reader just need to try
keywords in the search engine, within seconds the search file appears.
Reader do not need to go to bookstores or Gramedia to buy it. Printed book
are very difficult to obtain because they are not produced and searching for
duplicates on the internet cannot be obtained.

In conclusion, there are so many choices available that it can be a daunting

task to decide which readers are wanted or are needed. Both e-books and
printed books are both good to read, easy to download books, and easy to
carry. The selection of a form depends on the purpose readers and reader’s
taste. It is information that matters, so everything works as long as you can
get it.
