Since that time, numerous reports have come in that rental contracts are being issued for 30 days even for stays of one week or less. Please be advised that issuing fraudulent 30 day contracts is a basis for revocation of a rental license or other actions. Also, the Mayor is prepared to issue further orders to restrict all rentals to non residents (short or long term) for the duration of the COVID-19 emergency or take other measures to stop actions taken to circumvent the law. The City halted check ins to limit the spread of a dangerous virus that has put countless lives in danger and is prepared to take more stringent action should further abuses be documented.
