Leadership and Communication Experience


Student Hall Coordinator/Resident Assistant, Office of Residence Life, St. Olaf College Fall 2017-present
• Facilitate healthy quality of life in upper-class residence hall of 240 students and 5 Resident Assistants. Create and
manage duty schedule. Advise Hall Council. Serve as a resource to staff and students. Three-year staff member.
• Responsible for community development through planning monthly social and educational programs, advising and
counseling students, enforcing College policies, and serving as a role model.
Program Director Coordinator/Social Media Manager, Volunteer Network (VN), St. Olaf College Fall 2016-present
• Manage service hours submitted by organization leaders. Provide support as needed. Created VN social media
posts on Facebook and Instagram that included promoting 24 service organizations, student volunteers, weekly
events, and volunteerism. Four-year member of executive board.
The Volunteer Network is a branch of the student government that is committed to providing students with service
opportunities.
Interfaith Liaison, Student Government Association (SGA), St. Olaf College Fall 2019-Spring 2020
• Inaugural representative to the Student Senate. Represent students of different religious traditions, spiritual, and
humanistic beliefs. Foster interfaith dialogue. Promote communication and collaboration between SGA, the
College Ministry, and the Lutheran Center for Faith, Values, and Community.
SGA is the official student government on campus. It represents the interests of the St. Olaf student community and oversees
student related affairs.

for programs. Learned about organization structure of senior living community.
