wall panelling
Vboard designer variants with textured
surface finishes – V-Cedar, V-Stone,
V-Oceanic and V-Lake &Hill are available as
ready to use wall panels. Options of different
surface finishes are possible using paint, PU
coating and polish on Vboard.
6mm, 8mm V-Stone V-Cedar V-Oceanic V-Lake & Hill
mezzanine flooring
Vboard is available in various thicknesses to meet
the mezzanine floor applications to withstand
the defined stresses and loads. The mezzanine
floor application of the board results in creating
extra space for use as storage, office etc.
false ceiling
Vboard and Vboard designer varients
with textured surface finishes –
“V-Oceanic” and “V-Lake&Hill” offer
smart choices for modern false ceilings
in commercial, industrial and residential
applications.
wall partitions
Vboard has an added advantage over
other materials being fire water and
termite resistant making it an effective,
elegant, and sturdy partition system.
Vboard also offers acoustic insulation,
thermal insulation, and fire resistance
properties – essentially required for
wall partitions in Offices, malls, hotels,
hospitals, airports, theatres, commercial
and industrial establishments.
Acoustic partitions
Vplank
facade/external
cladding
The weather resistant property of
Vboard when used as planks with
suitable protective and decorative
finishes, makes it a suitable choice
for applications like facade.
Vpremium board
kitchen
cabinets
The triple advantages of the
Vboard can appropriately
fulfil the conditions to
make it an ideal application
for making kitchen cabinets
and use as a wall cladding
material in water and
moisture prone areas like
kitchens.
10mm, 12mm
roof underlay
Used as a replacement for RCC slabs, our 12mm
board is popularly used as an underlay roofing
application instead of Reinforced Cement
Concrete. The 12mm board is fixed using a self-
drilling screw and the roof will be finished using
clay tiles or shingles, like Saint Gobain.
12mm
doors
Doors can be constructed using our
Vboard, along with PVC or Aluminium
lipping for protection, with hinges
and handles fixed by nuts and bolts.
There are two types of doors -
Flush door - which is a full door,
designed washrooms and has rural
applications, and Panel door - which
has a board inserted at the top and at
the bottom, designed for toilets and
has urban applications.

working with
Vboard
tools
The simple working method of Vboard is as
easy as working with any other plywood or
particle board and you can hardly find any
difference – fastening is done much like any
other board and no special tools are needed
to do the same.
frame work
Steel supports can be used to fix Vboard
and thin cold roll formed steel sections in
the form of studs and tracks are available
in the market that can ideally be used for
applications like partitions, false ceilings,
floors etc.
Rotary drill Marble saw Screwdriver
nails
8mm Vboard can be directly nailed to
timber supports with round wire nails.
Apilot hole must be pre-drilled for boards
with over 8mm thickness. The length of the
nail should be approximately be 2.5 to 3
times of the board used.
screws
Self drilling CSK screws of appropriate
gauge and length. Brand- Corroshield or
equivalent.
fixing points
The recommended fixing distance between
two fixing points around the perimeter is
200 to 300mm. The fixing distance between
two fixing points in the intermediate
support is 300 to 600mm.
20mm & above 24mm or 1.5 times the thickness 300mm 300mm
of the board, whichever is higher.
jointing
Slight dimensional changes might occur
due to shifting temperatures and relative
humidity in air to Vboard and therefore a
provision should be made in the joint by
allowing a gap of 2 to 3mm.
binding
Vboard has an alkalinity pH value 11 to
13. So alkaline resistant glues or adhesives
are to be used for binding the board.
Please refer to adhesives manufacture’s
painting specifications.
tiling
Ready to use tile adhesives are used to
fix the wall and floor tiles to Vboard. All
reputed brands like Dr.Fixit, Ardexendura,
Laticrete etc.

partition
With properties like acoustic
insulation, thermal resistance
and fire rating, Vpanel becomes
the smart choice for internal wall
partitions for commercial and
residential buildings. The slim
Vpanel partition results in higher
carpet area for construction in
shopping malls, commercial
complexes, offices etc.
Office partition
external
walls
The basic properties of
insulation, energy efficiency
and impact resistance make
Vpanel a perfect solution for
external walls. As the product
is available in two thicknesses
of 50mm and 75mm, the
external walls may be made
with 75mm thick panels to
gain the intrinsic qualities of
the product.
