 Observed and participated in class activity in a 3rd grade general education classroom. Specifically focused for STEM.
Attended 3 hours a week to work with students and observe STEM lessons
 Worked with a 1st grade student for 1 hour every week providing one on one instruction. I worked with the student on
reading and writing skills including finding reading level appropriate books, making writing prompts, and collecting running
records and writing samples.

 Spent two weeks with Marist’s Culturally Responsive Education Class observing schools in Oahu and on the Big Island of
Hawaii. We observed, spoke to students, teacher, and administration and completed assignments and reflections based on
what we learned in the field.
