1. PRESENTATION
Thank you for choosing this Tavrida Electric product. The of surge arresters and the VT15/VT25, onto round, wooden and

Lift up the OSM assembly by handling equipment using 4 lifting lugs, Fig. 4.6.
ATTENTION! THE MINIMUM LENGTH OF THE LIFTING SLINGS IS 2000MM. THE WEIGHT OF THE OSM AND MOUNT UNIT IS 120KG.

g) Attach the OSM assembly to the pole using the COT37 stainless steel band and the COT36 steel buckle, Fig. 4.7. A total of 4 bands
should be installed to ensure secure fixing. The steel buckle must be fixed with a special tool, CT42.

9. Instructions for tensioning and cutting the band
Cut off the necessary amount of steel band. For this you can use the built-in, tool cutting device, which requires moving the handle located
near the receiving slot, pressing it against the body of the instrument, putting a steel band into the cutting device, Fig.9.1, and then
squeezing the handle of the knife to cut the band, Fig.9.2. Insert the end of the steel band in the slot ties to a depth of 5 cm, as shown in Fig.
9.3, and bend this section of the buckle with a hammer, Fig.9.4.

Hold the product that you want to attach to the post and push the band through the technological holes in the product. The free side of the
band, the one coming out from the buckle, has to be positioned inside the head of the tool and inside the retainer, Fig.9.5. Remember, the
handle of the knife must be pressed against the body of the instrument. After locking the band in the head with the help of the handle,
Fig.9.6, pull the band and turn the handle until the ribbon is around the pole, Fig.9.7. After tightening the ribbon, - expand the tool in the
direction of the band, and with the help of the built-in knife cut the remaining piece of band, Fig.9.8. Block the end of the band, Fig.9.9,
bending the buckle lugs by hammering them, Fig.9.10.
ATTENTION! ALL THE WORK ON THE TENSIONING AND CUTTING OF THE STEEL BAND MUST BE CARRIED OUT WHILE
WEARING SPECIAL GLOVES THAT WILL PROTECT HANDS FROM INJURY.
