GSM, LTE, WCDA, TD-SCDMA, etc. Under each technology, you have the
option to view key performance criteria for the market.
d. Under Window option, select the appropriate window for your device to
display graph and data values.
e. Once you have selected and arranged the workspace, save the workspace. This
will ensure a common workspace is used for the duration of the project.
5. Creating a GeoSet
A GeoSet file is used in TEMS for Navigation and or showing GPS points collected
during the route. Below are the steps to follow:
a. Download the MapInfo streets required for the market, i.e. New Jersey and
New York. The files are located on the Glow Networks FTP Server.
b. Move the MapInfo files into the TEM Product Files/TEMS Investigation
10.0/Maps folder.
c. Open TEMS.
d. Select the Map tab.
e. Select GeoSet Manager.
f. Select maps to be used for market.
g. Save GeoSet and close window.
h. Select the Open Map Files and select the GeoSet you just created.
If you have been provided MapInfo files from the customer, move the files into the
folder of step 2. Open the layer control option and add the routes provided to the
GeoSet you have open.
If GPS is connected, TEMS by default will track the progress of testing in the GeoSet
created using the CPICH RSCP measurements. This will allow the technician to
track progress, navigate and ensure all routes are covered.
You can now return to the Monitor Window and save the workspace once again. At
this time, you have configured TEMS and can start testing.
6. Collecting Data

IPERF COMMANDS
To perform any test cases in both LLDM and TEMS. We use command prompt called
IPERF. Here are few steps to set up the IPERF and commands to be used for making
the software work.
This document consists of the IPERF Commands to resolve issues with TEMS and
LLDM and to make sure to get best efficient output.
For XP OS laptop:
This is settings are effective for XP OS with SP3.
To better results make sure the following changes are made in the Windows Registry.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\SERVICES\AFD\PARAMETERS
DefaultReceiveWindow ffff0
DefaultsendWindow 7fff8
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\SERVICES\Tcpip\PARAMETE

To optimize Vista/Windows 7.
Use the following commands in Command Prompt (Administrator) to optimize the TCP
downlink conditions.
netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled
netsh int tcp set global chimney=enabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal
netsh int tcp set global congestionprovider=ctcp
netsh int tcp set global ecncapability=default
netsh int tcp set global timestamps=disabled
To return to the default settings of a command prompt as an administrator do the
following changes.
This command is used to verify the MTU settings in your Command Prompt.
To set the desire value of the network connection we need to the change the MTU value
using the following commands.
netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface “The Name of your connection(ID number which is
obtained from above command.)” mtu=1360 store=persistent.
Before starting the testing using IPERF make sure your IPERF directory is saved in the
default location of your command prompt.
Example:
C:\User\User>
Following commands are used to execute the different test cases used
for LTE site verification, benchmarking and Cluster drives.

Note:
Since LTE is completely new to me I tried my best to get all the information
required for this LTE project in one document, before anyone has any doubts, I would
recommend them to try first on www.google.com or any search engine or www.fci.org
(official government website). This might help me out in adding if anything necessary
in the document and learn some new technologies regarding this.
