DAILY WORK DONE (Electrical)

1-1-2020

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 500W BHRF flood light was installed in E/R port side and Steering room.
 Work in navigation locker for wiring and in radio room for tube light.

2-1-2020

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 A/E#2 alternator filter changed; exciter, stator and rotor were clear for dust with air
blower. Space heater checked found satisfactory.
 Aux boiler#2 repose indication LED changed.
 Workshop 2 NOS tube lights converted into 588mm from 580mm and 3 NOS tube lights
changed along with holders and starter.
 Electrical extension board receptacle repaired.

3-1-2020

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 O2 analyzer calibrated, IG started and inspected for proper working.
 Bottom platform receptacle (near 15ppm) was reported not working, when checked its
wire was find with no voltage. Its wire was traced and found broken. Supply was given
from tube light and receptacle found working satisfactory.
 COP platform tube light wiring was found faulty which was causing earth fault; which
was secured with insulation tape and working satisfactory.
 Aux BLR#2 routine mantainence carried out and alarms checked, found working
satisfactory.
 COT 1P high level, overfill float opened and brought in workshop for repairing (work in
progress).
4-1-2020

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Officers smoke room 5 in number bulb (E14) bulb (25w) changed; found working
satisfactory.
 COT 1P float units both floats, cautions stoppers and testing rods were removed and
cleaned.
 Some part of Spare store rearranged.

5-1-2020

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 MGPS DC current setting adjusted.
 M/E lub oil pump motor was greased and starter panel maintenance was carried out.

6-1-2020

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Generator platform two in number 580mm tube lights changed and converted into
588mm along with holders and starters. Also two in number tube lights changed along
with ballast chokes
 Work on M/E Fuel oil flow meter.
 Work on Aux Boiler Auto/Manual indication LED.

7-1-2020

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Aux BLR platform one in number tube light changed along with holder.
 2 in NOs Hand lamps were made for Engine room.
 1(P) COT OF and HL alarm float unit fitted back.
 S(S) COT OF and HL alarm float unit removed and brought to workshop for repair work.
Both testing Rods of OF and HL found broken to be replaced with spare ones.

8-1-2020

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 M/E Fuel oil flow meter battery changed (spare consumed). Found working satisfactory.
 Sewage treatment air compressor’s belt (A-36) renewed. Found working satisfactory.
 S(S) COT OF and HL alarm float unit High level testing road changed.

9-1-2020

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Elevator machine rooms two in number tube lights changed and converted into 588mm
along with holders and starters.
 S(S) COT OF and HL alarm float unit overfill level testing road welded and changed.
 Accommodation AC was found sort cycling due to low suction pressure. Suction and
discharge adjusted and found working satisfactory.
 Work on Alpha lubricator oil flow meter, battery was found faulty. Spare battery not
found. Alternatively HMI flow meter in use for counter.

10-1-2020

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Upper deck’s accommodation two in number tube lights changed along with starters.
 Aux Boiler 24 vDC alarm was coming, when checked its power supply unit was found
faulty. Replaced with spare one.
 S(S) COT was fitted back and found working satisfactory.
 MGPS anode was removed and inspected for proper working, found satisfactory.

11-1-2020

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Saturday routine carried out as per PMS. All alarms checked and found working
satisfactory.
 Aux BLR#2 Fuel oil v/v close indication light was changed, found working satisfactory.
 IG System routine carried out and sample line filters changed also O 2 analyzer was
calibrated.
 Aux BLR#2 Smoke lenses cleaned along with light source.
 Stand by attended for departure from Byco Anchor to Byco SPM.

12-1-2020

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Stand by attended for departure from byco spm to byco anchor.
 Aux Boiler control panels’ BMS nor and Igniter source indication lamp changed. Found
working satisfactory.
 Aux Boiler#2 smoke indicator bulb changed (24vDC).
 Upper deck store’s 100w bulb changed.

13-1-2020

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 IG and Boiler spares rearranged and ROB maintained.
 Work on A-deck water cooler and UV purification system.

14-1-2020

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Officers smoke room’s roof lights on/button was found faulty; which was soldered and
found working satisfactory.
 Work shop electrical tester panel was found with no voltage, when checked its selector
switch was found faulty; which was changed and found working satisfactory.
 Stand by attended for arrival at Byco SPM.
 Assist in cargo operation.

15-1-2020

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Engine room flood light BHF 500w changed, found working satisfactory.
 Aux boiler Gauge glass 60w two in number bulbs changed, found working satisfactory.
 Gyro compass E3A alarm was coming, master compass was restarted and all concerned
TBs, fuses and alarm signals were checked. Fault was found in inverter, according to
manual for this fault concern maker’s service engineer.
 IG system checked and O2 analyzer was checked for proper reading found working
satisfactory. Also O2 analyzer was calibrated.
 Stand by attended for departure from Byco SPM to Byco anchor.

16-1-2020

 Daily round and routine mantainence work carried out.


 Stand by attended for arrival at Byco SPM from Byco anchor.
 Steering room flood light (300) w changed. Found working satisfactory.
 Some boxes of spares store rearranged and ROB maintained.
 F.O 2(S) tank ventilating system was arranged, found working satisfactory.
